The guy whom I talked to was very kind :D I gave him my 10 year old retail key and he game me an key for TS2UC.
The only 'downside' was the 60 mins waiting time. When I had only 5 more mins I accidentally closed the window Xd so I had to wait again.

I have a retail copy. Tried entering the key on my origin account and it came back invalid, just got done talking to support and was given a key for The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, in a few days I will be upgraded to the Ultimate Collection :D EA's customer support was actually helpful. Only downside was the 40 minute wait time for chat support.
