Is there a way to block or mute a user on SteamTrades or a place to report them to? A certain individual has spammed my trade thread multiple times a week for the last four weeks and ignored my requests to stop. All they have is a handful of freebie games for trade, and I suspect the person is using a script to spam trade threads.

Wasn't sure if it was appropriate to even report them here anymore

It's not. Staff has repeatedly said they can't do anything about ST [even if they wanted to: They don't have any powers on that site] so it's just spamming them for no reason if you do make a support post.

Then again, knowing Ambi, he may be indicating you should do so intentionally, to keep reminding staff of the need. Of course, given how cg runs the site, it seems unlikely staff has any real say in it- so again, probably unlikely to be constructive.

ST has always been a pretty lousy trading site, and cg removing all account creation restrictions basically stripped away any remaining quality it still had. Barter was a far better trading site option than ST, back when it was active [and its admin did more in a week for managing the site than cg has done for SG and ST combined during my entire nearly-two-year stay on this site], but now that it's gone.. well, it has a would-be-successor, you can look into that- but having not used it myself, I can't make comment on it either way.

Either way, it's probably your best bet to just ignore ST for a while, and let the harasser run out of steam. Unfortunately, other than avoiding ST altogether or gritting your teeth and bearing it, there's no other option for dealing with it at the moment.

Thanks for the reply!

I extensively use Barter, and have tried Lestrades. I think the latter is dead on arrival as it's impossible to manage for larger scale traders.

Regarding Barter I was logged out and able to sign in again this morning. Isn't that what was supposed to be broken with it? Someone there has begun re-adding recent bundles to the bundle page again as well.

Barter still works for me, so I couldn't say. That's the hearsay, yes.
As far as bundles, I believe Barter-Admin empowered several users with the ability to update bundles. So long as they can still log in, and still feel the inclination, bundles will continue to be updated.

There was a two month gap where no bundles were being added, just started up again recently. The Barter steam account which hadn't been used in a year also was recently used again.

Nice necro, you can't post links or you can get suspended for calling out.

Banned by whom?
Steamtrades is unmoderated. There is NO ONE that could ban them.
Well, besides cg himself (I guess?), but I doubt that the site suddnely will become moderated in any way.

Spam support.

Support can't do anything there, since they are support staff for steamgifts only and not steamtrades.
See Sooth's comment above.
