Happy cake day! Thanks for the train and for being so generous to the community :)

You won one of my level 5 flash GAs a few weeks ago and never replied + at least 1 non-activated win and a negative ratio, I assume that is the reason.
In general, if someone is in my blacklist there is a reason for it - negative ratio, hoarding, non-activated wins, multiple (or higher lvl) GAs won without saying thanks, making only region-locked or small group GAs, VAC bans, late activation, etc.

I have an unactivated win?? also for the reply thing I have been blacklisted for replying in the past and now for not replying...some people do not want to read the spam of the thanks, I get ya though and happy cakeday... Thanks for your genorosity.

You are right about the comments, but it's usually concerning people writing during the GA, not after they've won it. It's also possible I was having a bad day and went on a whim - so I've removed the BL, feel free to enter the train and good luck :))

Hey thanks! I am confused over the non-activated win part, because you are the second person who said I had an unactivated win, but I pass the SGTools test for that...might be one of the games SGTools has whitelisted because of known false reports.

I might be getting things wrong here, perhaps you can help.
I have one giveaway made by a user, who has since seemingly disappeared, and went into mine and I assume dozens of other blacklists. They made a 500 copy GA for Zombie Boom, left it open for 2 or 3 weeks. Naturally, something like 50+ people from 500 had to request rerolls, b\c by the time his GA ended, many of us had won the game and forgot to double-check. It's been weeks since then, and despite repeated posts from dozens of people and even Steam messages, support cannot do anything because the creator hasn't even requested one reroll, and now we all are stuck with a red notification forever.
So my question is, because I never understood this when support explained it, should I mark it as not received, even though I do have a Steam key (never used it). My only worry was passing SGTools checks for giveaways and trains, would marking it as not received ruin that, or not? Because honestly, I would LOVE to get rid of the red notification :)

Not sure I understood the question. I think you won the game from someone else before this GA ended, and you won again in this GA and the creator did not do any rerolls. If you mark it received, then you will have multiple wins for same GA. which is bad.
In my case I won the Binding of Isaac, never received the game, marked it as not received and that was that. Shame to because I have always wanted to play the binding of Isaac...

I was getting it kind of wrong I guess, but the end result is the same - I should not mark it as received, since that is a multiple win, and that will prevent me from using SGTools. What if I mark is at not received?
Shame for The Binding of Isaac, I have yet to play any of them tbh, but have tried many others in the genre. If I don't get it from SG eventually, I might grab one of games during the next Steam sale.

Wow, I almost can't believe it's that time already but guess what... I've been on Steamgifts for almost one year now, and what a year it's been. I gave out a lot of games, encountered many insightful people and managed to double my wishlist in the process.
So to celebrate, it's time for - you guessed it - a cakeday train. There are 10 carriages waiting for you, worth a total of 148P. The train will run until 04:00 CET on May 18th, which is when I will clock in exactly one year on SG.
There is a Level 5+ requirement to enter, but since the train will be running for another week, people who are a bit below the marker still have time to reach it and enter the GAs.
I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved in the community here - puzzle and train creators, deal scouts, 'veterans' and 'newbies' alike. The world may seem like a strange place sometimes, for many different reasons - some on the outside, some within - but I have always believed that games can be a powerful tool for human communication. I'm happy the SG community has proved me right many many more times than the other way around!
Before we get to the best part, here are some stats from the past (almost) one year, because why not:
I have won more than 100 giveaways, but only a select few of them have been from my wishlist so far. Lately I joined a few nice groups and got added by some generous people, so things are looking up for the future :)
If you haven't fallen asleep yet, it's time to board the train!
Good luck to everyone :)
