Might help MAF if you clarified which parts of the thread you didn't like, since I for one am not seeing anything clearly offensive in it.
As I'm interpreting it, 'if you have a good ratio or I win from you, you'll hit my WL- but otherwise, you can do these tasks to show you really want on my WL and get on there through that, instead.'.
It's no different from any other whitelist recruitment thread, as far as I can see.
I mean, you certainly may dislike such threads as a rule, but I'm just not seeing a "let's see [this is obvious]" component to it- it's not as though any of the tasks are in the WL for WL category.

I wasn't arguing subjective reasoning [and I can appreciate why the gleam.io approach to WLing could be considered irritating, even though I personally don't get why people'd blacklist over something they can choose to not participate in], but rather questioning the implication in phrasing that it was an obvious wrong-doing of some sort [and indicating that further clarification of subjective reasoning might be warranted].

I understand that, I'm just saying that people come to SteamGifts and see that the whole Gleam thing is generally accepted and assume that blackmailing people is a good way to promote their community.
Of course when I said "you all" I wasn't referring anyone in particular, just the community in general. :)

subb me here and there, when he is only 1lvl and first ga from him is a little fail and smells fishy enough to get some red flag, also this looks like kind of promoting yourself in yt and not everyone support this, everyone can add you in bl for even nothing, this is their black list so you can't avoid that, everyone have their own little things what irritate them.

Wasn't arguing your right to blacklist for any reason you feel appropriate. Rather, I think blacklisting something of no concern, and I'm pretty against people pestering about it in the first place.

You should consider breaking down a bunch of those holiday BGs and emotes into gems and making sacks. They're going for a 1$ a sack and it's only going up as the supply dwindles.
