For me, control is more important than immersion.
Screen tearing can be annoying, even distracting, but it's not worth losing performance and/or precise controls over.

Of course i turn it on in games where precision isn't an important factor(pretty much everything i play with a controller)

Usually on, unless it causes input latency or too much drop in frame rate.

with the games i play, i never notice any difference between on or off, so i don't care.. just keep it at whatever was the default setting

Always off, if I have it on I get that mouse lag/aceleration crap. Wich makes the games unplayable for me. I need perfect mouse sensetivity.

On if the game isn't too taxing on my video card, off for everything else. I'd rather have a lower framerate and less screen tearing, but if it gets too laggy, I disable it.

Off ofc! Super Hexagon is a new game switching the vsync off. There's some tearing but the input lag is so huge otherwise i can't put it on again.
