well look, i did not miss the point. This other guy was trying to make cover song of rollin (hoping for some mtv time probably) and maybe he tried to add some humor and maybe he wanted it to be uplifting andn maybe he hoped for air-time also but i [presume he failed since i never heard his version on the radio, that's all.

This "other guy" is a famous YouTuber (possibly more famous than Limp Bizkit), and the purpose of doing the "cover" was for both entertainment (parody) and social commentary (introspection and deliberation of the lyrics' poetic value). If you "got" that point, then well-done. You are both paying attention and using your ability to think critically. With a little deliberation, you have probably also learned something from it.

I skipped school when I was in middle school and went to Virgin Records in NYC to meet them and get their Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water album signed when it was released. Haven't listened to them much since then, but I still like a few of their songs from their first couple albums.
