The numbers correspond to the letters of an old phone. Using T9 you could write with just pressing the number sequence above, and it would spell out: Charlie Romeo Kilo Charlie Alfa Uniform Yankee Lima

This is the NATO phonetic alphabet which gives us an 8 letter code that leads to an ITH-page and the giveaway.

Indeed. And I was away over the weekend, so couldn't provide any bumpage or hintage. But seeing that noone is even seemingly trying, probably just walking around with their heads in their mobile phones, perhaps hints are wasted. When I was younger, you didn't even have to look at your phone when typing, you knew where all the buttons were.

Oh my, solved the cipher without knowing the cipher name. That's like... knowing how to write, but not knowing what the thing you're typing on is called.

Bumps are needed. So much easier to type without looking if there are bumps on the screen. Perhaps they should add a technology so that when the keyboard is out on the touchscreen, you get some sort of tactical feedback when writing. Like on old phones.
