Indie Royale with Cheese bundle

I liked it more than Dungeons of Dredmor. It's a lot simpler in terms of mechanics and complexity of classes and skills and such, but is also a lot more difficult, just due to the fact that most of the enemies are the same level as you with similar skills and such.

Yeah, saw your review on the steam page. You mentioned Hack Slash loot at the end, do you recommend that game too? Can't find your review on that game. I find it rather too random.

I think both of these games require a certain amount of masochistic tendencies, worse than compared to say, Dark Souls. In that game, the reason you die is because you made a mistake. In these games, the reason you die is because of random chance (and sometimes because of mistakes).

So as I said, I really only recommend these games if you really enjoy playing roguelikes. And yes, I consider this to be a roguelike, unlike some of the commentators in my review :P

Got it for Continue. Also quite wanted Rogue's Tale and Cognition chp3 (I liked chp2 quite a lot, although the first chp was a bit poo).

I bought this mainly for Cognition Episode 3, since I only had 1 and 2 from some previous purchases and don't want to pay $30 on Steam when I already own half of the season. I'm hoping that the mystery game is Cognition Episode 4, but I'm not holding my breath. Still, we'll see soon enough.

I think I have Episode 1 on Desura, but since you can't buy the episodes individually on Steam, I didn't see the point in getting this bundle for Episode 3. I'd still end up having to buy the Season Pass to get all the Episodes anyways.

Thanks for that link. I wasn't sure if it was possible to get separate episodes anymore. Looks like it is, and I'll bookmark that link for reference. Still, at $10 per episode on the Phoenix store, I think I'm going to wait and see if it eventually gets bundled. I haven't played the first two episodes yet, so I'm not in any big rush to get the fourth. Plus, according to https://twitter.com/indieroyale/status/464419227513147393, Indie Royale suggests they'll look into getting Episode 4 into a bundle.
