OK... I just read through that entire FAQ, and it seems to me that the entire thing is completely pointless? It's basically a huge circle-jerk of people doing stuff to get worthless items, in effect just ending up as a huge e-peen contest?

You get almost half of the each game cards by drop (they're dropping random, so maybe dupes drop) and the other half is obtainable via trading. Once you reach the limit of drop, you can't get anymore trading cards by drop system, only trading.

You can have 2 cards of the same char(i have 2 pyro for example)

You can have even 3 or 4. As long as you get the max capacity of cards, whether they are different or same, you won't get more.

It kinda sucks that roughly half the community wont be able to "craft a badge" due to the fact they are in a limited quantity. Just kinda seams like Valve wants to cash in on achievements.
I am game though, want me some badges.
