OK... I just read through that entire FAQ, and it seems to me that the entire thing is completely pointless? It's basically a huge circle-jerk of people doing stuff to get worthless items, in effect just ending up as a huge e-peen contest?

Not on achievements, but on badges and the whole leveling and rewards.

65% of community does not care about badges and are glad to sell all their cards on the market.
