As a bundle, yes. But, well, it contained almost only my wishlisted games. It's really a rarity, that the bundle have more than 0-2 of my wishlisted games.

One would assume they don't wanna give that out for cheap.

Oh, don't worry, they didn't forget that not bundling their best franchise is the best way to milk it (but arguably, they could have at least added a coupon).

They probably don't wanna risk people asking about localization of that one Sherlock Ace Attorney once more XD

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Seriously though, Capcom has been dissing the western Ace Attorney fans hard. When a game releases, we get a digital download and nothing else. There is also high demand for the spin-offs but they don't want to localize them. Do they think we don't exist?

This goes double for the European region (and not just for capcom games on a nintendo console lol). I'm always super reluctant about getting anything that's eshop only. I was rather amazed the Layton Crossover got a physical here at all. Grateful, but also amazed. So any new download-only release gets a "disappointed but not surprised" reaction from me.

True, with Ace Attorney I would have bought T3 without any further consideration.
But like this there are just 3 RE games I'm missing, of which I'd only consider to play 2. I shall pass.

I has most of it and it is very expensive. Lowest price for me so fat is 8,88euro. But I decided i will not buy it (probably even T1) :)

Tier 2 BIT better than sales

Well I looked now actually at for the games I would want and its pretty much both £16 very expensive but ill see

I would really like to get my hands on Resident Evil 0, but there's no way I'm paying over 10$ when I already own a good portion of everything else.

Great games, just a bit too expensive for that many rebundles.

Wanna pay for the chance to get a discount on a game? How didn't they think that this might look bad?

I only want Resident Evil 0/1/2 and DMC HD Edition. 2 of them aren't even in the "Mega" bundle, 1 is literally as expensive as it costs normally and 1 is pointless to get at what is just its normal discount price.

It's such a wasted opportunity, honestly.

As pricey as T3 might seem, honestly if I didn't already have all those Resident Evil games except for Revelations 2 and Dragon's Dogma I'd quite possibly buy the third tier. However considering I already have most of the games I'd want from this bundle I'm going to pass on the entirety of it.

BTA started at $16.95 AUD (~$10.14 USD) here, but I'm not sure if it's lower just because of our poor currency.

If I gift an entire bundle (when buying), will gifted one get region lock keys?
I think it doesn't make sense to region lock when gifting bundle... but never knows. Anyone?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The bundle should be for your region. From BR that's at least some BR / China / RU / Vietnam keys.

289465, Mega Man X Legacy Collection / ROCKMAN X ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION (Launch Key-Only Restricted)
278427, Mega Man 11 / ロックマン11 運命の歯車!! (Restricted Launch)

So don't gift to the USA or EU :P

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Dead Rising 4, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Resident Evil 0 HD REMASTER, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Complete Season also get different subs in BR than in USA etc from this bundle.
(but I don't know which, so I can't tell you where those activate)

The humble choice gave the gifted their own region lock. Tried myself...
Why would this be different on the regular bundles?
Have any experience on that?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You don't gift a Humble Choice bundle, you gift a region-neutral token that the recipient "makes a regional bundle" by activating it (and not pausing that month).
(Or do you mean a single game gift link from a HB Choice?)

P.S.: Gifting Humble Choice sounds rather uneconomical versus using stocked up Classic subscriptions.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Bundle. No gift link. But, again, why would this be different on regular bundles?

Edit.: This HB Choice worked on the beggining when before credits works... Now you can't gift Classic anymore, sadly, only Premium. Better send them money paying taxes on paypal to the the whole thing.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Because a regular bundle is bought where you pay for it, while a Humble Monthly token (I assume Humble Choice token is the same) is redeemed with the region of the activating account in the moment a bundle purchase page (keys) is unlocked.

All repeats here so my wallet is safe this time. Honestly, though, this is one amazing bundle. Some amazing Capcom games here, although there's a ton of DLC to go with many of them.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Is this the usual bundle where buying Tier 2 with "Resident Evil Revelations 2 Complete Season" will not give you the extra "Resident Evil Revelations 2 / Biohazard Revelations 2" copy from Tier 1? If so, is increasing the payment later also disabled (otherwise you could buy Tier 1, reveal and use the keys then upgrade to Tier 2)?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You do get the key/giftlink for Episode 1 if you get the whole bundle, but I was wondering if that IS included in the Complete Season? I had neither to begin with, so it's somewhat confusing because it looks like they're technically separate on the store page.

Gotta love those 50% off of Devil May Cry...when it's already seen much better sales.

Also, where is SFV? Isn't it to the point in its life cycle when it would make sense to put it into a bundle like this?

Despite the Megaman titles are in the bundle (reason of my nickname), I won't pay that much just for them. Region lock seems to be an issue, so I can't even split properly. Nicely done CAPCOM and Humble Bundle.

Did I understand this correctly: there's a DLC "RESIDENT EVIL 2 - All In-game Rewards Unlock" in Tier 1 but the whole bundle (not even Tier 3) contains "Resident Evil 2" which is required for said DLC? Even though that DLC is probably not important, that's still pretty lame.

I got and still am a little confused

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Complete Season is one key that activates the following:
Resident Evil Revelations 2 / Biohazard Revelations 2

Also since there was a coupon to buy resident evil 2 i thought i bought it cheaper from Eneba, but that complete season did also activate the whole game or is it something else, or in shorter words did i waste 13 euro getting it on eneba and activated it double or did i do it right?

RESIDENT EVIL 2 Humble Store Coupon and RESIDENT EVIL 2 - All In-game Rewards Unlock require RESIDENT EVIL 2 / BIOHAZARD RE:2 which is a different game from Resident Evil Revelations 2 / Biohazard Revelations 2 (included in the Resident Evil Revelations 2 Complete Season).

RESIDENT EVIL 2 / BIOHAZARD RE:2 is not included in this bundle, so you didn't waste any money.
