The Steam Client is going to get a new look

Looks more like iTunes than a game store, to be honest. Too much unnecessary tabs on the top. Also:

I hope that Steam will give Steam support a new look because contacting Steam support and getting some of their answers is sometimes traumatic at best. :X

If Steam had comics, then I might actually get into them. Currently I find them a bit too much of a hassle, since from what I've understood you have to just download PDFs and have a free-for-all in a folder somewhere among the random bits and pieces.
So, a thumbs up if TV and comics pop up there.

Sure if I can buy complete seasons of my fav shows in a 1$ tier bundle I'm all for it. Other than that... steam, stop.

Every time anyone changes the look of the product, they cut out things that shouldn't be cut.

Looks as bad as the greenmangaming redesign, which I'm sure hurt sales big time. (as you wouldn't see the 'ture' discount unless you logged in, which means, oh, only a 10% discount, I can get it cheaper elsewhere, bye... situation)

The visual changes don't seem nothing special, but what I would like to get was a revamped search engine both in the store and mostly in the library to make a good use of all the categories I created there.

TVs and movies, I REALLY hope they add actual movies and TV shows, and not "CSGO player profiles" or bs like that

I just wish they'd stop fucking around with the minor things and start improving the functionality, like playing videos in the client or searching for groups/players... or monitoring the crap that pours through Greenlight >_<

Utter waste of time. The current one works perfectly fine and what could be improved probably won't. I suppose like other changes over the years there will be a few good points among the horrible but as with changes to software these days I expect it to be awful and will be pleasantly surprised if it is merely bad.

It would be nice if they give us an option to switch back to a classic theme. I only say this because I don't think I have ever seen a major program or software update where the developer didn't remove or break things that worked perfectly fine in the previous version. They take things that were originally logical and designed for productivity and move everything around or completely remove things and change everything to icons instead of text.

They try to dumb the program down for the masses, but end up just making a confusing mess and taking away the usability.
