What annoys me is that I bought the Complete Edition a few weeks ago to be done with it but I guess with those local distribution rights you never know.
Edit: Guess I should get my facts straight before I start bitching :D After faldi pointed out where I can buy it I realized it was included in the Complete Edition anyway. I just jumped to conclusions because somebody said it was only available in certain regions plus it's not listed with the other DLC.

Yea I was mistaken. Somebody mentioned it used to be RU/CIS only and it isn't listed with the other DLC on the Mafia II main page so I jumped to conclusions but it was included in the Complete Edition I bought a few weeks ago anyway :D

I had not tried yet because I was still figuring out if it's cheaper to buy the main game and the rest of the DLC (for GAs) from GMG and whether GMG was the shop that tends to sell region restricted keys without notice and denies support for those but I just did and got the same error message you did. Sorry to hear that :(

You've right, It can't be purchased (in Europe). I've seen the same error again some years ago when I was travelling abroad in another european country when there was still a difference between the countries (it was EU2 while I live in an EU1 country) and I was trying to buy from there. So it's a msg related to region restriction policies.

I just got a 20% voucher from Games Republic for my birthday.
Is the Deluxe edition worth €6,39? Or would it be better to stick with the regular edition at €4,79?

I only played the Story on 360 back in the day but as far as I remember Mafia II has a very nice open world which sadly is hardly utilized because there are barely any sidemissions worth mentioning. So if you like doing sidemissions in GTA / Just Cause... and don't mind the lack of cinematics / story I would say go for it.
Edit: There are 3 story DLC by the way but 1 of them seems to be tricky to get: The Betrayal of Jimmy. More info 2 conversations up

I just played the demo. Hell, this game looks awesome ! Almost certain to buy it.
Question for Frenchies (or non-English players) : Does the game let us change the language in the settings (I want English audio and French interface), or am I doomed to download a patch ? The demo was full French, I just can't handle this, especially for a game like this. Thank you :3
