From what I understand, it's a licensing thing:
Prior to releasing the game, they license music for a set period of time
When the licenses expire, they have 3 choices:
1) renew the license
2) replace the music
3) stop selling the game
Which choice to make depends on economics: if the licensed music is cheap and the game is still selling reasonably well, they'll renew the license. On the other hand, if the music is expensive and the game is barely selling, then they'll just pull the game.

Both. If the game is removed from sale existing copies will usually remain as is. The older GTA games tough were patched to remove those songs.

Noup, i don't think so, IIRC it was here before mafia 2 was removed from steam store.
- This edition doesn't contain Story dlcs, just those packs(cars + weapons )

Hi, my friend bought Digital Deluxe Edition on gmg. The store page on gmg says "includes: Mafia II, Mafia II DLC: Joe's Adventure, Mafia II DLC: Renegade Pack, Mafia II DLC: Jimmy's Vendetta, Mafia II DLC: Greaser Pack, Vegas Pack, and Warhero Pack.". But when my friend redeemed it, it only contains made man DLC. Does the description go wrong?

maybe they should ask for a refund since the game did not match the description as i assume they bought it on the promise of the dlc.It is always best to check with Steam unless you are sure the package contains what it says from other sites like GMG.
Though it would be nice if they had a way to buy the game plus all dlc with a discount but here in the U.S. you have to buy the base then the dlc on its own.

150 keys is the asking price for a digital copy no way i could just get the retail game.I mean i get the appeal of the digital and just needing steam but i could buy a retail copy and just upload the images to cloud and find a crack and pretty much have the same access for far cheaper.
As even if you got it a 2.00 a key PP that still 300 bucks in keys i could almost buy a 1070 for that price,if it was like around 75 dollars i would give it a thought but not 300 for the same game that on a disc.

see if the dlc matches what it says in the store as it does come with one dlc it just a couple cars and clothing,the rest is art book and sound track and digital map check your steam folder to see if you have any of those.

The last picture shows Resident Evil 5 in the same library view showing my DLC tab, so Steam must be glitching and I really don't have the Deluxe Edition?
