The reason those prices seem too good to be true is because CDKeys is an unauthorized, grey-market reseller. Getting a photo of a CD-Key seems super shady.
I'd rather spend a little more and know that I'm supporting the developers by buying from an authorized reseller.

They are grey yes but they buy from authorized dealers, that's why they have high reviews with little to no chance of revokes. Just that they buy physical copies from poor countries for cheap region prices but no region locks, then sell them there.

Exactly, I remember when I bought a key, I don't remember which videogame, but in the photo with the key I managed to notice some words. Searching in Google I found that they were from India.
So, like you said, they buy in places where the exchange rate from dollars to another currency favors them, and then they sell.

I'm sure that's the case, but I don't really like that they're profiting through exploiting regional pricing - the regional pricing is there for a reason, because otherwise games would be prohibitively expensive in some regions (and in some places they still are), and exploiting that for profit is likely to reduce regional pricing or increase region locks.

That just means they buy retail copies in cheap countries. The only question is whether you have a problem with curcumventing the regional pricing that the publishers put in place. I'd say if you trade for games on Steamtrades or other sites, you already act against the ToS of publishers and bundle sites like HB. If you don't see a problem there, then it's just a small step to sites like CDKeys.

I do have a problem with that, as I see that only being problematic for gamers moving forward with even more region locks on games - and who wants that?
My main issue is that CDKeys is acting as a middle-man, and making a profit by exploiting regional pricing. I don't really like the notion of someone making a profit by buying and reselling games. I used to occasionally trade with people on the GroupBuys group before I discovered SG, but what I liked about that group is that it was set up such that you couldn't make a profit - if you sell the games from a bundle, you can't charge more for the games than the total bundle price. I'm sure it was in violation of the ToS, but it was effectively people buying a bundle together and splitting the games between them (not all that different from someone buying a bundle and then giving the games away on SG, which is also against ToS), as opposed to someone buying the bundle and then reselling the games for profit.

It might not be the optimal way, but it's a way.
Why not get PayPal, it's really easy and most sites use it.

I am sure you would have reasons but what's wrong with having a bank account? Since with so many bills from everything you pretty much need one.
I would never suggest though to just attach your whole bank account to it, once someone gets into your account they got free range (learned that the hard way).

I seem to already own that Gears of war 4 Xbox game.
Microsoft Account - cost = 0.00
Key code must have been given out free or in a bundle at some point ?
Maybe it was very cheap somewhere in the past.
I doubt i would have paid more than £1 for it.

Not really into ARK, but for € 5.49 I might try to play it.

Anyone know how long the Gears of War 5 will be on sale? I can't buy anything until Friday when I get paid and I was debating trying the site out for the sale.
Even though I shouldn't trust them. And my Paypal account is LONG ago compromised and screwed up beyond ALL repair.

6 days:15 hours:18 minutes, give or take. It shows you the time left on the home page.
As someone who's been buying from CDKeys for years, I can say you'll be fine. They are my go-to-site for Steam keys, even before the Steam Store itself. Once you've done the first time phone verification, delivery is almost always instant. Never had a problem with them.

Well damn. I don't get paid again until after the sale.
It is what it is. Thanks for that heads up.

yeah, really scummy, i ended up only getting trackmania for uplay

That doesn't change the fact that changing sale prices is not an honest move. If someone in retail did this to you, would you still feel the same way? Once you drive to the store and find out, oh wait, the price is higher than it was at the start?
Bottom line is that some of these prices are now on par with a Steam sale price, so why go through he hassle of ordering from cdkeys and providing a real phone number and potentially a picture of ID when you can pick it up next steam sale?

Got myself a copy of Monster Hunter: World, and it worked fine, i was new to the site and bit reluctant as those prices seemed too good to be true, only strange thing is after you paid, you need to verify via phone or sms to be able to view your key.
Overal comments (here and on other sites) tend to say the site is legit (little chance in getting keys revoked) although the keys as with kinguin/g2a could be a bit of a grey area, the keys are coming from the site itself, not from users, and the keys tend to come from scanned codes coming from boxes.
Small selection (there are many good deals), best to check the whole sale page below (or people's comments).
