Earlier today the site has stopped working properly for me using up to date Firefox, on a new Windows 10 laptop.

I can still use it on Internet Explorer.

I have already tried clearing the cache, booting firefox with add ons disabled (safe mode), the basic stuff.

I cannot press any of the green buttons on firefox; can't enter giveaways, start threads, use the "message received" button etc

I cannot use any drop down menu at the top of the screen, the arrow on Giveaways, Support etc

like this?

if you block scripts the site won't work (ie: noscript extension).

No. I am not running noscript. NEver heard of it. And as I said, running with no add ons has no effect. The site looks fine the drop downs and buttons simply don't work.

"Refresh Firefox" option to reset it to default doesn't work either.

push F12, check the console for errors

edit: i could teamviewer you to attempt to figure out what is happening

that said, a friend was having similar issues on the google play store in FF on win10 at first, but then the issues cropped up on a phone browser too, so it could be something with the internet provider not loading everything

Nothing happens when I push F12.

wat... well make sure you're clicked anywhere on the page or in browser first, the other hotkey is ctrl+shift+k

to get to it from the menu just push menu>developer>web console

if this cant even open, then the browser itself seems 'damaged', let's hope your hard drive isnt dying (yes there are tests you can run)

no other site has issues in FF? try the google play store which my friend was having very similar issues with

Nothing else that I've tried, I don't use a ton of sites though. Twitter, a couple message boards, email, steamgifts is like 90% of it.

It does look like I might have some issues on Google Play Store too, but I'm not familiar with the site.

I am guessing this is an obscure windows 10 issue. Maybe after like 64 months of updates it will fix itself? lol

Working fine for me on Firefox, also in Windows 10.

Make a new shortcut to Firefox and change the target to ...firefox.exe" -p

Make a brand new profile and try it here.

Button are disabled mostly due to javascript not working.
Check from this link if it shows that you have java installed or enabled on the system
http://java.com/en/download/installed8.jsp
If it doesn't detect it, try enabling the extension for JAVA in the addons or you can
Type about:config into the address bar and press Enter.
To bypass the warning, press the big button labeled "I'll be careful, I promise!".
In the search box, paste javascript.enabled
In the search results, if javascript.enabled appears in bold text, right-click it and choose Reset.

half of your help is about plugins that have nothing to do with web standards, only the javascript part is relevant, that is NOT java

  • Uninstall FireFox
  • Use Ccleaner
  • Reinstall FireFox

+1, just use Ccleaner to completely wipe site cache and cookies and try again. It's %100 about your cookie data.

Hold shift and push the refresh button. The javascript file your browser has cached for the site is corrupt. This will reload it from the server and it should resolve the issue.
