Assassin's Creed 3 question

So I have AC3 on Uplay already with no season pass and decided to get hte deluxe version on steam. I heard that you have to run uplay through steam, so since i already have the game in uplay, if I activate the deluxe edition, what does that do to my account? Does it add another AC3 to it, add the season pass, or override the orginal completely?

just buy the season pass, even on steam it has to start up uplay for you to be able to play it.

i don't think that would work since you need the base game on steam in order to purchase their dlcs

Nothing changes, the game doesn't get added to your account.

You play it THROUGH your account, but it doesn't get added.
