While criticising the previous posting is correct, the motive of the shooter isn't clear and they were registered as a Republican voter. In his defense.. Trump did steal money from eight (8) literal children's cancer charities, and from what I've read and seen about him, I'm under the impression he would absolutely stage a fake assassination for publicity, especially since he didn't bother to leave the stage and rose his fist after for photos.

At a rally an unnamed gunman took a shot at Trump and managed to graze the top of his right ear, but Trump will be fine. One spectator was killed, and another injured. The shooter is reported to be dead.
