Do not get it....what is the significance of L337 or 1337?

Yeah, 1337 is "leetspeak" for "elite." 1=L 3=e 7=t, etc. It's age-old script kiddie, t-shirt stuff, but still humorous, especially since anyone who's actually elite, so to speak, would never advertise the fact. So, whenever you see someone proudly using the term, you know they're just the exact opposite of it in reality. Kinda like someone trying to act "cool," and by having to do so proving they're not (because if you're cool, you don't need to do anything or act a certain way to show or prove it).
