i love the AC games all of them but i do agree with you in a way

I loved Brotherhood and also liked Revelations. But Brotherhood > Revelations > 3

Ehh, I preferred 3 to Revelations. Didn't like Revelations.

I personally never played 3 but I heard from a friend that it was a waste of money and worse than Brotherhood.
Revelation's story was good, and I felt that it ended Ezio's story quite well, even though I loved Ezio and never wanted his story to end. The little Desmond memory-exploration was real cool and different from what you had to do in Brotherhood.

"There are two parts to the hookblade. The hook, and the blade." - Only interesting line in Revelations.

Besides the bad optimization and frames drop, I liked it, but others might have others thoughts :)

If they rush it launch it's bad. And I'd love to see which period are they settling it on. I think that there's no point going further now and you can't go back

Looks like they do intend to rush it. Any game in development for under 1.5 years is rushed.

Yeah, my bad. I don't know why was only thinking as WW as the only suitable scenario.

""AC3 was a total scam for most of the PC players.""
Learned it on the hard way, friend, but at least I bought it with 25 euros from a shop within my country.

The rush isn't always bad - for example, PC versions of last two games featuring Ezio were released in the same year and I enjoyed them both. I belive they didn't allow enough time for III, which explains the bad optimization this game has.
Regarding the second part, that's true. I wonder what will they come up with this time ^_^

Rush is always bad. If the Ezio games were given more time, they would have been better. Simple as that.

I found the games II, BH, and RV pretty good, they were something different than III.

Actually, they worked more time in AC III, because of it's new engine and they wanted it to be "Revolucionary".
Well... it isn't, but still a good game. But, I understand the AC PC gamers, I bought my copy for PS3 and I got luck that my PS3 has an FUCKING rare system error that some open-world games, like AC, don't run how it was planned, with a lot of FPS drop.
At least I have learned the lesson that I MUST PLAY ASSASSIN'S CREED ON XBOX.

They might even launch it at the end of 2013's fall, like all previous games :))

50 year later ..... Big new Assassins Creed XXIV will come out soon

This is one of the first leaked images from AC 4. This will probably be on the cover ;)

I'm conflicted about Assassin's Creed. The story is there to justify all these releases, but the progress between games as far as mechanics is minimal (although I can't speak for AC3 as I haven't played it yet)
It's a probable justifiable case of "If it ain't broke..." because the games are good enough. But still.

While I was a fan of the Assasin's Creed series (played 1, and god you could do so much in 2 and it was so much awesome, the brotherhood/revelations were just building on ac2), I found playing AC3 unbearable and got at a point where I didn't even have interest nor motivation to even start up the game.
Performance was okay, content was extremely unappealing.

I Liked all except revelations ... will pre-order it in first day it become available on steam ;)

Ubi has a great opportunity to create an amazing game based on Japanese culture.

3 was a pretty big let down for me. It was good, it's just not as good as it could have been. The PS3 version was riddled with bugs and tons of slowdown. Revelations was the last really good one for me, even then it wasn't as good as 2 and Brotherhood.

Well, I've recently read that Ubisoft confirmed the release of Assassin's Creed IV on the fiscal year 2013 - which will end on march 2014 - - we will have a new character and a probably a new historical period.
I would like to hear your thoughts on this - if it's good or bad that Ubi already fastens the release of "4" (even if all DLCs for III are available for purchase) and all aspects regarding to this new game :).
Would you buy it ?
