I stick to chrome as it does it's job, easy and fast to use. I can't be bothered to try other browsers though..

I use Firefox but I also have installed Chrome to use the Chrome App Launcher.
Which one is the best...I don't know.

Firefox. Easy, reliable, and installing addons is so convenient.
BUT.
I did not try any other browser than Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox. If I'd have to list them from best to worse:

SRWare Iron or Opera although the new version is sorta annoying now...
Maxathon isn't terrible also, Firefox works best on Linux from my experience, not a fan on Windows.

Chrome, i have tried using Firefox but it's just not my type, it feels sluggish and it's over protective to the point where it's annoying and sometimes it just doesn't want to work. Besides i'm really used to Chrome by now, i can't go to another browser. Just add some nice extensions and you can get the same if not better experience than Firefox.

If your history is your only concern, Chrome has incognito mode. "Pages you view in incognito tabs won't stick around in your browser's history, cookie store, or search history after you've closed all of your incognito tabs. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be kept."

Well IE lacks a lot of the things I frequently use so for me it is shit. After that it is between Chrome and Firefox which after using both for quite a while I concluded for what I do Firefox works better overall. Only used Opera briefly and didn't do much with it so can't really say where it is.

I mostly use Chrome, will fall back on IE or Firefox when needed.

Opera 12 is the best, but unfortunately Presto engine is dying because of this f%%king s%%ty Webkit browsers, all those forks like Chromium and companies like Apple and Google, who use their domination to kill everithing what the do not like :(
