Well it will activate fine because Uplay doesnt have region locks. But I heard they have language locks you may have not all languages then. Not sure about the latter though.

I live in the infamous EU steam region as well, and I have a RU copy activated in my account since a guy sold me the Deluxe copy which wasn't marked with a RU tag at all... I only tested if it would launch, and it does. As for the multiplayer, I doubt Ubi/Uplay has servers dedicated to Russia alone, so you'll probably be fine.

I just traded for Far Cry 3 Deluxe on steamtrades. Guy told me it was ROW, but when I click to add to my account it has RU at the end, so it's clearly marked Russian much like the OP's picture. The fact that it looks like I can still add it to my account makes me think there aren't any problems with it being RU. Can the OP, or anyone for that matter, confirm that this version will play the same as if I bought it in North America? THANKS!

It's not region locked. I got mine last sale and it works.

hey guys, I have a question. Steam can ban your account if you have activated a russian gift?? (as example Far Cry 3, a game that can be activated without problems in everywhere)
