Hello and welcome to the madness!
The challenge is simple: Play and beat any 6 games, starting today, that have been featured in any given Humble Monthly/Choice bundle in one month.

The prize: 2x Sea of Stars
Note: This means I'm giving away two copies of the game and will have 2 winners.

Game length does not matter and I'm not looking for 100% achievement runs. So long as you play and beat 6 games, I'm happy. You can go easy mode and play a bunch of 1h games or go crazy and play 6 +30h games. So long as they were in a monthly at a given point, it is all good.

Just post a comment with either screenshots/ achievements showing that you fulfilled the criteria and I'll add you on Steam and give you the link. Feel free to share your thoughts on the games you've played, but it is not required.

Why you doing this?

I hate money. That and I realized I've been subbed to the monthly for over eight years (yes it has been that long, I checked) and it occurred to me that I've barely touched the games I've gotten from it, let alone played them. Figured the same would be true for a few others, so I figured this is a good way to change that. A sensible person would probably unsub in this situation, but please refer to the beginning as to why that will not happen.

I've played the first X minutes of a game, can I pick it for the event?

No. You cannot have any play time or achievements prior to the start of the event. The only exception is idle time from farming Steam cards.

Can I play a MP only game?

No. It needs to have an "end" in order for me to count it as beaten, so it needs to have a campaign/story mode.

If a game was sold as a non-Steam copy in a bundle (origin/uplay/drm-free/etc), can I pick it as a choice if I own a Steam copy?

No. The reason being that those who own a Steam copy would have an extra option that would not be available to everyone who bought the same bundle. If the game was originally sold as a non-Steam copy, but Humble later provided steam keys to everyone who bought the bundle, then the game would be allowed.

Why six games?

The first few monthlies had 6/7 games in them so I went with that.

How long are you going to do this?

Until my credit card statements gives me nightmares.

This event "ends" on December 5th when the next HB Choice releases, though the giveaway itself will end the next day. If you manage to finish game number six in between that time, feel free to post, but know that I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to give you the link in time.

Planet of the Eyes August 2016	Started: November 25th / Finished: November 25th	The End. Fin.	Cute little robot + nice color scheme = happy darksider
Minit April 2019	Started: November 26th / Finished: December 2nd	MINIT. COMPLETE THE GAME.	Even though it is a short game it took me some time to feel motivated to play it. Felt a bit stressed with the timer. I am sure it is a great game, just was not feeling playing this game for a bit. Picked it back up now though for the end of the challenge. Almost switched it out, but will try to finish the game.

⭐Black Book / February 2022 bundle / Started on November10th / Finished✔ on December 4th RIghteous(good ending)	Before playing: People praise Black Book's unique slavic myth aesthetic, but, I suspect, the real "stuff" is in the addictive card game mechanic. After playing: If you call "Black Book" a "Slay the Spire" with plot, then, I guess, you would call WW2 a war with some casualties. "Black Book" doesn't warn you how deep you are going into the most obscure russian folklore, and you can literally drown if you are not prepared, and meet vodyanoy. I loved it a lot.
Ryse: Son of Rome / February 2017 bundle / Started on November 8th / Finished✔ on November 10th Bad to The Bone	Before playing: Somehow an AAA game in its time, launch title for the Xbox One, is seen now as underappreciated almost hidden gem. An investigation is needed! After playing: Ryse: Son of Rome is "The Callisto Protocol" of its time, if you know what I mean. Much effort spend on appearance and presentation, but the game itself feels pretty shallow. I understand, it's an "experience" game. But too bad that the time took away some of its beauty, after all it's a child of the previous generation of consoles.
The Ascent / August 2022 bundle / Started on November 25th / Finished✔ on November 29th Win	Before playing: The game looks fun, or maybe it's just bright vibrant colors. After playing: Gorgeous! Simply gorgeous looking game. The details, the art direction - all is tremendous work of the real talent. And that's why I kinda wish that they put some of that effort into balancing out the gameplay. Even on "Hard" it was mostly a cake walk but with gut punching spikes of difficulty when your enemies have a couple of levels over your.
Prodeus / November 2023 bundle / Started on November 20th / Finished✔ on November 23d It's Finally Over	Before playing: I heard a quip, that "Prodeus" is a boomer shooter that exploits nostalgia for Doom... 2016 version... After playing: I liked how it looks and feels, but the gameplay is not refined. The main evidence for this is an existence of respawn points. When you die, you return to a "nexus" with full health, but all your dead enemies stay dead. So you can grind down any obstacle on your way, no need to "get good". But come to think of it I get this choice. It's because the game design itself has some flaws. Too many words to explain it, but if you play it you will get what I mean.
A Juggler's Tale / October 2023 bundle / Started on November 30th / Finished✔ on November 30th Together we are not alone	Before playing: I only hope it's not "style over substance" pack of simple puzzles.After playing: I appreciated that the game didn't go into usual "freudism" that modern artsy puzzle/platformers like to dive, heh. It's pretentious just enough, laconic tale with beautiful vistas, and, of course, kindergarten complexity puzzles.
Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard / December 2020 bundle / Started on December 2nd / Finished✔ on December 4th SNITCH(100%)	Before playing: The first game was a delight, also short. Exactly what I need for my 6th entry into this challenge. After playing: Delightful fun and intriguing detective story!

Hltb lied to my face u.u // done! i loved this game so, so much. i remember playing undertale and not finding it that good (heresy, i know) but i think what im feeling now is what people felt with that. if so, i get it. Im very hyped for ng+, but first, i rest.
Roadwarden	07/2023	Beaten (The Roadwarden Achievement)	Roadwarden was fun, I'll need to do some other playthroughs to find all it has to offer. But I will wait a bit before engaging with it again - it is quite a dense game. HLTB lied to my face even more with this one.
