I know just the movie that nobody's heard of but I like it. And it has mind-blowing qualities. I saw it once on TV long time ago and loved it. It wasn't until more than ten years later I managed to snatch it of off eBay (DVD is kinda rare).

It's called Listen.

Wild Things. But you have to watch all the way through to the end of the credits for you to actually understand just how much of a mind blower it is. That movie has a huge number of twists and turns in it. I haven't bothered with the other Wild Things movies that are out (I think they are up to #4) as I have heard they are only a shadow of what the first one was.

will not "blow your mind" but definitely will make you think.

Memento because of the way how the story is told.

Oldboy because still up to this day it's probably the most brutal film I've seen, not in a way that it's graphic but just what the film is about.

There will be Blood, because of the performances of Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano.

Also, if anyone's into cool camera work, check out Children of Men or The Mist - both by itself pretty good movies, but the camera work is extra slick!
