If you're in for some adventure-RPG, I'd recommend Suikoden 1 and 2, both of these games have a perfect storyline

I played both, didn't finish one. As a small child, I didn't understand what I was supposed to do in Suikoden 2 after a certain part, so I never got any further. As soon as I found out that you can recruit people to your army (or the mercenary gang in the beginning) I moved to Suikoden 2. I returned to Suikoden 1, and then I was completely lost, I didn't know what who where. so yeah
Suikoden 2's still better imo, better soundtrack and stuff

Define what you understand OP under the term "good RPG" cause you venture into the ocean of games.

Not a classical RPG but has some strong RPG elements, sadly not available for Steam: King of Dragon Pass

Ok, you played Skyrim and Terraria, so I can recommend you The Witcher 3. If you like older rpgs, you know, those delivered for SNES, you can try Chrono Trigger, and FF VI. You can even play these on an Android phone. And I don't know if it counts as an RPG, but you can give Bastion a try.

Gothic games
TES: Mainly Morrowind
Baldur's Gate 1-2
Neverwinter Nights 1-2
Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity: Original Sin
Pillars of Eternity
Witcher 1-2-3
Deus Ex - first one is First Person RPG, Human Revolution is shooter RPG
Fallout 1&2 for classic RPG goodness, FO3 for postapocalyptic shooter with lukewarm RPG, New Vegas for kind of the RPG the old ones would be proud of.
Spiderweb Software's games.
Knights of the Old Republic (IMO 1>2, 2 is so abruptly ended)
While not traditional RPGs, Adventures of Van Helsing is a surprisingly story-oriented hack and slash
King Arthur, Spellforce games are RPG-RTS mixes I think.
Also, if you can consider in-depth, atmospheric games to be RPGs (in terms of really role-playing a certain character) Dishonored or Thief games give a great, in-depth

What are your limitations in terms of hardware? I think that's the bigger question.
