I have 87, sometimes I had 100+, and I think Yirg has something like 6-7-800ish. Depends what do you want to use your WL for (few outstanding people, your friends, trustworthy, nicely behaving people by the hundreds) - there is no universally right number for your WL count.

I haven't whitelisted anyone because I don't do whitelist giveaways. :P

How do you sort whitelist by date? Had no idea it was possible to do that.

No 0 choice on poll. :P
I only add to whitelist for special giveaways then remove everyone when it is done.

Wow. I use my WL quite a bit but still have nowhere near that many 0_0

I'd expect an overwhelming majority of games given away on SG are never finished, and only a minority are ever even played.
My personal record is of 37 won, I've 100%ed 5 games and beat 3 others. I'm still working through the rest, and am 40+ hours into one, 3 hours into another, and 2 hours into a 3rd.
If you are interested in people playing (though not necessarily beating) the games you give them, check out the Playing Appreciated group. I've beat every game I won from there.

When you become an adult, you simply give up sleep to play games. Learn to love coffee.

Ouch. It's not extremely surprising but still, pretty bad. That's why I'm slowly building up a whitelist almost exclusive to people who play the large majority of their wins (which you're on btw). If I do a giveaway like that at least it'll be much more likely to get played.
I might have recently figured out another way to make it more likely that a win gets played. On a recent giveaway I did (invite only) I mentioned that the person who won might get whitelisted if they play it soon. And guess what? First time anything I gave got played. Either I just got lucky or that actually worked.
Probably wouldn't make a difference on a public (not invite only) giveaway because so many people don't read, or bot enter. The winner had a not stellar at all % of wins with achievements. But getting someone like that to even try a game not long after winning, that's kind of hopeful.

I'm not too concerned if someone starts playing a game and finds they don't like it. Sometimes games just don't turn out like you think they would. It's people that don't even try most of their wins that confounds me.
Actually the game I gave when I joined PA never even got launched. The winner did get kicked. But I've seen other people complaining about bad apples like that on their own giveaways. I'm pretty sure there are people who get in, win as many as they can before the first month is up, and then get kicked. So unfortunately it might be less of a guarantee that something gets played than I'd like. Unless they've changed the rules to thwart that.
I'm interested in getting into Actually Playing sometime too. I wonder if the same sort of thing happens there or not.
I think maybe something what would help guarantee wins getting played the most would be having a group where all the people play most of their wins in the first place. Would a group requiring that 60-65% of all SG wins have 25% achievements be ridiculous? I had this idea before Actually Playing recently put in a rule for 35% of all wins must have 25% achievements.
That group doesn't even have a hundred members though, even with the played percent being much lower than what I was thinking. But they also require that people be level 4, make a BLEAO account, and sort all their games on BLEAO before joining--which I found to be an incredible pain because the site is so clunky it makes sorting your games go so much slower than it really should take. So if might not just be the 35% that keeps the group so small.

I think your case is rare where the PA member didn't play the win. If you want even more insurance, you could set a minimum level on the PA giveaway. Higher levels are more likely to abide the rules.
I don't like the idea of a group requiring any percentage of SG wins to be played because a lot of people enter GAs for junk games just to +1 their library. Those kind of games aren't worth playing ever. I don't personally do that, but I wouldn't be so against someone doing it. It's not like the creator expected a mostly negative game to get played, they just posted it for CV.

Yeah, that's why I kind of wish SG had an option that giveaway creators could check for "I'd like this to be played" or "It's okay to just farm this, I don't care". Being able to check what percent of wins were played that the creator wanted them to be (so in other words giver's wishes were respected) is what I really want. It's too bad there's no way to do that.

I have quite a few people whitelisted, and do mostly whitelist-only giveaways.
The number is constantly in flux as I add or remove people on a whim (unless they've whitelisted me too, at which point they're basically grandfathered in).

ESGST has a feature that checks to see if you can enter any whitelist giveaways users have done, and then puts a check mark next to their name if you're whitelisted (or red X if you're blacklisted). However, it only works if they've actually done whitelist giveaways before, and does miss some users (especially those who do region-locked giveaways).

41 whitelisted and 16 blacklisted after 6 months. I don't really think that's too bad. It's hard to not just rapid whitelist everyone though, there are so many lovely people on this site and I feel so comfortable here.

I did inventory a couple of months ago (and now need to redo it :-( ). I'd been very bad about keeping my gift list updated and that recent inventory netted over 1K. Yikes... so I decided to trade for a while and try to clean out my wishlist. But I'm starting to get bored with trading and will be creating a big train for the Bundlelicious puzzle event today. It won't be a fabulous train shrugs

And yet, no WL giveaways for 8 months? Are you waiting to break 1K before doing more? :P

I only do WL GA's occasionally - as you can see, I mostly do big trains for events like the Metro series or Puzzlemasters. shrugs - I am liking being at L7 but will cross over to L8 after my new train (arriving in the Bundlelicious puzzle event station later today) closes in a month.

0 whitelists because I never create whitelist giveaways.
