years ago I noted that Pikmin had a windows executable on the disk - and it can actually run on windows :P
it is a pain in the ass - but many have tried and succeeded :)

Ah, I'd love to do this, but I own the Wii version of the game :(
Guess I'll just use an emulator, it's close enough.

Yeah, I'm probably going to cave and buy a Wii (as mine was stolen). Or just use an emulator. I'm installing Overlord right now, hopefully I like it enough that it warrants a purchase of Overlord 2. Thank you for the suggestion

I'm looking for any pc games similar to the Pikmin series. I've been desperately craving Pikmin, but I don't own any Nintendo consoles other than a 3ds. I know Hey Pikmin! just came out and while I am interested in buying it eventually, I'm looking for something more in the style of the "normal" Pikmin games.
