Is this site legit?
Just what I was thinking, yes... PP and you should be good to go in most places.

Oh i didn't mean that your credit info might be sold(that's going to happen for sure). What i meant, was that this kinda shady sites usually still your credit info and start buying shit with your cards. I wouldn't buy a single thing from this sort of 'retailers' Fuck those greedy retards. If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

If you're using your credit card on the internet, you're doing something wrong. Ever heard of a little thing called Paypal?
Comment has been collapsed.
You could say that about anything...
Use an ATM? FOOL! You could have your info stolen by the dummy devices.
Use cash? FOOL! There's a lot of fake currency moving around and the paper money is one of the most unsanitary things in the world.
Use Paypal? FOOL! If the site shuts down, you can't use the money on it, you also have ridiculous fees and fees and also some fees.
Everything has an up and a down. No need to literally say that using a credit/debit card is wrong

Yes and no.
Is the site legit? Is a 2nd hand key shop. I'ts the same as Cdkeys.
It's not a grey market full of scammers and resellers as G2A, it's a place where they are selling legit keys but the keys are bought in a way that maybe, you personally, can't get.
For example, after some bundle, the games on the bundle go cheaper. why? I don't know, maybe they bought some bundles too or they think their keys aren't that good anymore.
Sometimes, if you buy something, you don't get a key but a photograph of the box with the key. Some people told me this is because they buy the retail versions in countries where are cheaper.

ready2play is selling the game through Kinguin for 7.29€, so not that big of a jump.

Just try this shop twice when bought Origin game and Steam. Still on my library until now (They gave screenshot of the cd key). I don't know if they called legit or not.

Grey market, though I have friends that have bought a lot of stuff there with no problem.

If I'm not mistaking, I think it was this website that was asking me a copy of my identity card to complete the purchase. Of course I cancelled immediately.
A physical copy of Doom sold by Just for Games (I don't know if this company also sells games in UK) is worth 9.99€ full price. You might want to wait for the Black Friday and check on Amazon and cie, who knows, the game might be discounted and have the same price than on Instant Gaming.

I bought XCOM on ig a year back (first time using it) and they asked for a copy of my identity card with IG or instant-gaming written next to it to verify i was using my own CC. After an hour or so, my payment was accepted. No problems with the game so far
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm sure there is no issue with the games. But asking for the copy of the ID seems very shady to me.
Every website I use (Humble, BundleStars/Fanatical, Gamesplanet, Gamersgate for the gaming ones, and Amazon, CDiscount, Fnac, food shipping delivery, etc), not a single one asked for a data like this to prove that the CC is mine.
And I definitely won't share my ID with my name, address, picture, code, to a website that might sell it to/be hacked by impersonators.
Of course I'm 99% sure they don't and won't do such things. The website is old, massive identity thefts would have been detected since then and the website incriminated. Still, I won't take any risk, and stay with Humble and cie :/

Oh i didn't show any of my personal details on my identity card. IG just uses a silly way to "verify" your account by asking certain new buyers to place their identity card (with their details blanked out) beside the website or the initials IG. You can see 2 examples here: https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/contact-us/?goto_article=68,500

Hmm. If you can blank out the details, that's indeed better.
Still, I don't find it very nice from them to be mistrustful towards their customers. If I go to my bakery and get a 10-minutes examination of my coin to check if it's not falsified and be asked for my three last pay slips to prove that I can afford legally my bread and croissants, I'll probably go to another bakery :/
Anyway, I can't even give them this document, since I don't have a scanner, a smartphone or a camera :D

I mean, they're trying to avoid any liability, which I understand.
But at the same time, it's way too inconvenient and risky for the customer.
Also your verification in a physical store is either your PIN or the machines that check if you have fake money.
Cash tends to overall be like Bitcoin though. Anonymous.

The Autumn steam sale starts on the 22nd. I'd wait to buy anything.

Like Silverio said it's a 2nd hand key shop. They bought lots of copies to have a price and sold this copies individually that why the price is low.
Concerning the "picture of a key that seemed to have been taken from a physical copy", it's true, they also bought physical copies for game working by DRM (like steam). So they took the keys in picture to entered them in there database in this format.
My friends and I bought several times on the website, the most annoying was to confirm my credit card with a picture the first time. We never had problem with a key and if it's happen I don't have any doubts they will replace it.

i bought several times in that shop with no problem

"plenty of games"
name 3 fast fps games like doom with a nice modern graphic.
Comment has been collapsed.
As doom is a singleplayer with a story (so no horde mode), yes. only SP.
Also KF2 is not nearly as fast as doom is.
I can understand when people don't like doom but there are not that many new games right now that have a playstyle like that game.
Wolfenstein for example is much slower, is more into story than the action you can find with doom (and I love Wolfenstein). COD and Co. are waaaay different.

Dying Light and Borderlands PS are in no way close to Doom. They are Openworld games, with a lot of Sidequests.
Hard Reset is more like Bioshock in style of combat.
I don't know Space Hulk Deathwing but will check it out for sure.
Also doom is raw, it's brutal and def. over the top. Back then there where some shooters like Doom and in MP Quake Champions is a good game to look at. But in SinglePlayer Doom is not the norm and there are def. not plenty of games like this.
There are other Shootergames. Some better, some worse but the style of Doom is def. different to all the other games you told.

Well, Doom selled well and received lot of positiv review.
Tbh. at this time no big publisher is releasing anything bigger without an well known IP.
If you feel like Doom is the same as Dying Light or KillingFloor2 its like you would say Dirt Rally is the same as NeedForSpeed is the same as the Crew. Ofc in all games you drive a car and all have a good graphic. Still nobody who played all 3 would say they are the same...

I think you're boiling it down too much. While technically you're not wrong, it's the gameplay that makes it good. Well made gameplay on any genre is enjoyable. Even if you don't like the genre itself. Also, music's very subjective.
It's like saying that Payday 2 is a game where you just get some people and shoot random people. The graphics are bad, the engine is a travesty and the company's really greedy with their pathetic excuse of a DLC:
Technically, I'm correct, but I'm also missing so much good that the game has. The Diesel engine's still chugging along well enough, the soundtrack's amazing and the gameplay is really smooth.
Also, I just built my new PC, which I made a thread for a while ago, so now I should be able to run it with ease ;)

It's shallow, yeah, but it's still good. The gameplay's well done, so that's good enough for me. Otherwise games like CS:GO, LoL, Far Cry, Minecraft or most any other popular games at the moment would be bad.
It doesn't do much, but what it does, it does really well. Otherwise you'd have an Assassin's Creed on your hands :D
I do prefer games that do many things well, but I genuinely don't know a lot of those games. Have you got any examples of them?

Yeah, Bulletstorm was fun. Though, I'll be honest, it wasn't that in-depth. To me it always felt like a random FPS with a few interesting ideas. Things like kill checklists and stuff are fun for a while, but the game (for me at least) lost its charm in a few hours. I'm not that creative though, so that might be a hinderance.
Shadow Warrior 1 would've been much better if they had made the sword combat better. It's otherwise pretty good. Haven't played the second one though. (Planning to with the new PC though).
Hmm, I should try Metro again. I got to the nazi train station level and that's where I quit because I couldn't find a way through without dying.
Overall, I tend to like FPS games, some walking simulators (I know, I'm the devil), some modern RPGs and stuff. I mean, the only genre I dislike is puzzle overall. The others are fine in my books. Good recommendations though overall :D

Looks alright? You can also filter reviews for lower stars if you want to read those first.

Bundled with Steam Controller, I bought DOOM for 10€ (even less) at the Steam Store. Why not 6.89€ at instant-gaming if they bought bulk physical copies? But I don't really have an opinion on the site, I don't use it and will certainly never do.

So, this was the deal I was presented with: https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/865-buy-key-steam-doom/
Didn't want to mask the site URL either, just in case.
This deal's pretty damn good, but I'm worried there might be some scam going there or something.
I've heard of one person who bought the Shadow of War key on Steam and received a picture of a key that seemed to have been taken from a physical copy. It worked.
But just in case, anyone else have any experiences with this site?
