WILL YOU?
gaining a moment of false hapiness by dooming yourself to eternal damnation after death doesn't sound like much of an equal exchange. Besides, the devil will twist and corrupt your wish to make you suffer - want to lose weight? Here - have some incurable cancer that causes you to lose weight rapidly.

Yes, i'd gladly sell my soul to the devil, for some certain things to happen. If the contract doesn't force me to do anything special while I'm still still alive or makes me die prematurely, or gives me any other negative consequence while, yeah, still alive.

As a human you have no idea what a soul is and how it really affects anything, so sure I'd sell my soul, I'd have no idea what would it mean afterwards though and I don't think it would really ever affect me as a human, it would affect the soul once I die, but that's not me, that's a soul. Everything we perceive and do is in our brain, so a soul means literally nothing to our existence. It would be stupid to be a soul of a creature that can put you in some sort of eternal damnation when the creature lives for only a couple of years and the soul would be basically enslaved in your body and you're free to do whatever you want with it without understanding what it really means.
In a world where your existence is inside of a soul and there really is hell and damnation and all that, then no, it would be a stupid thing to do.

If you could sell your soul to the devil, then the devil must be real, which suggests that heaven is also real. Assuming that you would then give away a possible eternity in heaven for some benefit in your current finite life and possibly at the cost of spending eternity in hell, you are from an economic standpoint looking at utility levels of plus and minus infinity (zero at best), respectively. Not a very hard choice to make then.
TL;DR: NO way

I mean when the historical human population increases, there are more souls in the market which as far as I know never get destroyed, which means that the longer I hold onto my soul, the more it gets devalued. Since the human population has been growing at an increased rate since the Industrial Revolution, souls have been getting devalued faster and faster since then, meaning its probably best to sell as quick as possible.
Regardless as long as another being is born there's another soul to possibly buy, so no matter what my own soul is worth less. I would sell my soul on the first opportunity.

I could, but devil should go first.. you know because of his bad rep.

eh, honestly why not? As long as I get one helluva return then we have a deal

Be fucking serious, man! xD If the devil exists and he's buying souls, then he would obviously scam you or something and then you would rot to hell. :P But I understand why you're asking this. You would like to get a temporary happiness by getting something from the devil, right? That would suck though. -_-

Random question. I was watching this TV Show called Lucifer and wondered if someone would actually trade/sell your soul to the devil?
