Sorry but I don't like it. Desktop version is far more useful than this.
We have smartphones and tablets that could be use for replacing pc, and we keep doing something that tries to remove that feature and make the phone & tablet use a pain in the ass....

Well this sucks :/. I mostly use the site via mobile and this breaks it for me D:. I welcome the cg making a mobile version but it would be nice to allow desktop mode till everything is worked out.

For me it's terrible. Text and images are overlaying eachother. Cant see ga's level and some other important info.

Broken on phone. Can't see what level the giveaway is. I wish there was an option to disable the mobile version.

O_O oh my gosh. I thought it was just my phone going insane and that I had somehow messed up the settings and couldn't revert back to desktop version. I rebooted my phone maybe 5x and was getting very annoyed and kept trying to "request desktop version" on my phone (using Chrome) ....
I hate ,mobile versions of sites, and the SG mobile version is terrible. I can't see much of anything and things are horribly blown out of proportion. I'm glad I'm not alone with this....

I thought it looked pretty good to me, much easier to read rather than having to zoom in and out all the time, especially clicking on links. Though everything was a bit large for my taste and some info was hidden/too cramped to read, it was still overall easier than using the desktop site. My phone has 1440 x 2560 resolution so the desktop-mode site has tiny tiny tiny text. So I think he's on the right track with this update.

Why are you so inattentive? In almost any mobile browser you have an option to go to "full version" or "desktop version" or whatever in your options. Why are you not just go ahead and toggle that freaking option? Now that is gone(mobile version), thanks to you guys, some of us will have to suffer using old permanent desktop version.
When it is first came out today I was so happy, that finally we will be able to use it right. But it is all gone now ;(

I have to say, while I liked the mobile version, I did try the iPad's 'Request Desktop Site' option and it did not work. The reason for this is that the mobile version was designed based on viewport size, while the iPad's 'Request Desktop Site' option only changes the user agent. I don't know how Android's version of it works, but it's probable that it wouldn't have worked, either.

So I see there's a new mobile version of SteamGifts, which I'm presently using on a tablet.
Very snazzy, CG. ;D
Edit: I don't have a phone to test it with, but it does sound like it's pretty crowded there. On tablet (iPad Air, for what it's worth), I have to say I do really like it for the most part, though it'd be nice for points to be shown in the top bar as they are on desktop, rather than have to go to the menu to see them.
