I just noticed this as well today. It does look kinda bad.

Looks a little smaller, but I dunno if I would have noticed if not for this thread. I don't see anything that makes me want to gripe.
What's this talk about the back button? I still see a back button.

I think they meant that before the update you could hit the backspace button to go to the previous page instead of clicking the back button, whereas the new keyboard shortcut is alt+backspace alt+back arrow key. I never really used that feature much though...

Ah, yeah, I wasn't paying enough attention.
I preferred alt+left arrow key myself. I never liked when I was typing something on a webpage and accidentally hit backspace after losing focus in the text field or however I'd accidentally backspacewhatever myself back into my history.
Though it's much better nowadays since browsers tend to restore whatever you had in the text fields.

Same here. Always found that annoying.

Almost totally out of the subject, but sience we are talking about chrome updates... A few updates ago, i noticed when i open a link in a new tab, it doesnt load as soon as i open, but only when i select that tab. That didnt happen before. Is there a simple way to set it as it was before, so many tabs can load diferent pages while i read the first one? Any help will be appreciated.

That has already happened to me about 2 months ago when I upgraded to Win 10. Since then I had to deal with all those smaller things etc. I still can't get used to them all since it's not just Chrome but also Windows itself. I even contacted Microsoft about it but they just apologised that they can't help me with that (lol). When I somehow got Windows things a little bit better, Chrome was still too bad for me. I've been "suffering" because of that for 2 months or more already and I was surprised that nobody else had that problem or noticed anything. Now I see I am not alone. I will try to switch back to the old look later using those tricks someone posted here and hopefully the old good Chrome will be back :)
PS. I have even considered rolling back to Windows 7 just because of Chrome.

Just updated and noticed the back, forward, reload etc buttons have awful flashing visual effects. Anyone know how to disable that?
EDIT: All good, changed it here chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md to Non-Material.
