Simple topic about surprises in SG

I've decided (right before bed time (well past it, actually), that I could/should whitelist all the users whom I won a game from, so I started doing that, new ones to older ones, until I was greeted for the first time by a message, that I could no longer see that giveaway because I was blacklisted by the creator. So, yeah that was my 1st, not even I cannot know who was this user, but I cannot longer whitelist him/her.

Oh well, life goes on, it was bound to happen sooner or later, don'tya think?

Poll is in place, even the infamous potato option like you kind souls like it, now tell me, how was your 1st time? did you like it? did you got hurt? did you seek vengeance or is all forgotten and forgiven?

Some people have the policy to Blacklist someone who wins a game, giving the rest of the community a chance to win next time. Basically a one and done type of thing for winning their GA's.

lol to begin with the probability of winning 2 giveaways from the same person is so low (as in really really really small) that there's no point in doing so
I'd say leave it be and let the gods of random decide it!

Agreed, but some don't see it as that and that's their right on here as it's their game being given away.

I just let the hands of fate guide where my keys go!

yeah I knew that, and yes it's their right so no complaints or anything. rlly low odds but hey it's that how they get off that's fine by me :)

ive had plenty of people win multiple giveaways i made and ive won multiple giveaways from others. its really not that uncommon. the last time i made a larger set of invite only for some forum event there were several people who won multiple giveaways even.

I'm not so sure it's all that rare actually...I had it happen to me right away when I first joined here.

And I've won a double from someone else here also.

I personally don't BL winners and I always WL those I win from shrug To each their own however.

If it was a public giveaway I think you should be able to view it when you're logged out, in case you would want to whitelist that person still.

I don't blacklist anyone - unless it is asked for me from the group becasue of some leecher who doesn't follow the rules but I try to not keep anyone on my blaclist longer than a month. I live by a rule that don't do things to others that you wouldn't want to be done to you.

I haven't been blacklisted yet for my knowledge. Some people tend to blacklist you if you win their giveaway so that same people can't win again in their giveaway. Kind of strange but everyone can do what they wish with their own blacklist :)

Once, but I was being a really dumb shit without knowing I was being a really dumb shit.
Surprised me at first, disappointed me at first, but then went and figured out why and it all made sense.
So I'm totally at peace with it.
