Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven on Steam - where to get it?

Getting it is indeed possible, but getting it at a reasonable price, not so much.
Shops selling it usually only sell the discs, while traders ask for something like 100 CS:GO keys (!) for Steam redeemable gifts.
The better choice would be to... ahem... get it through "other means", if you want to play it...

In this case I would say better get T edition than pay 250$ for 15 years game which is still great, but...

Get a cheap copy from Ebay. The Steam version isn't worth it anyway as you still need to apply a no-cd crack to be able to use the widescreen mod.

2K removed Mafia in 2012 from Steam. No one knows the reason. I recommend that you buy a boxed retail version somewhere.
Edit - Just found it for 3,99$ on ebay ;)

I really don't know why 2K did this, mafia the city of lost heaven is a very good game, and classics like this one needs to be purchasable again.

unless you're a collector of steam games or you want the rarest of the rare steam games, no reason exist to get mafia on steam.. You can very easily find a disc copy for a fraction of the price..

The boxed version I've had the time of release of the game. But I'd like to have on Steam this rare game would be nice. Especially, when I do not use boxed games.
