Naw... Mully doesn't get extra treatment. She's been suspended repeatedly and at least one member of the mod team even has a problem with her.

Also I always assumed Mully does those things not because she's such a spiteful person but rather to encourage others to re-evaluate their obsessive behaviour.
Afterall if I remember correctly she also had a 1500+ game library before she quit the rat race and purged her library to a more manageable size.

I've seen some websites/Steam groups post the links to their boxes on Steam, so I suppose it's ok. They never said what's in them, as that's against the rules.

best for cg himself or someone from support to confirm officially but I'd say it should be fine - boxes are nothing else but limited invite only GAs so same rules should apply to them as to invite GAs, puzzles etc - aka you are not allowed to share, spoil or hint anything without GA creator permission, but if it's your own GA then you should be allowed to do as you please ;)

Hmm, can't you preview what the box looks like before publishing a giveaway? Would have been easier to just adjust the package dimensions on the fly instead of having to figure out the image aspect ration first ;) 'Cover design' refers to the lid I suppose, will the base texture just extent over the cover sides if I don't specify side cover images?

Preview doesn't work at the moment because https://cdn.steamgifts.com/js/holidays.js appears to be broken. As soon as that's up again, boxes should continue to spin in all their glory before you create them.

It's a CDN, so it might be a load balancer issue where not everyone has trouble. I can't 100% confirm it's not on the client end, though I did disable ESGST just in case. You may have a cached copy that makes things work -- try force reloading (Ctrl-Shift-R). Beware that that might actually break it for you too. :-P

I thought it was a cute event, but I wasn't sure if I would participate or not. In the end, I did. And despite the fact that my box isn't perfect was tired of photoshop-ing, I beat up my OCD and told it to shut the hell up, I think I really love it. I don't care if I don't open a box I'm interested in the giveaway... this was fun and it's all that matters to me, at this moment. :3

Probably, that's a good idea. I've opened some new ones. The most simple variant - just activate recent free games, then all these games will be excluded from your list of available boxes.

I don't know if it happened to anyone else but yesterday when I came to opening the 4th boxes, it started to open then stopped and after that told me I had opened 5 boxes when I had only opened 3. Just curious if it's a bug or something I did somehow?

Hey CG, any chance we could get the ability to upload our own 3D models for the boxes? Something simple like a 250 triangle mesh w just a low res (like 128x128) color and opacity texture? I think it would be a lot of fun to see what the community could come up with and would definitely make a bunch myself. I suppose it's too late for this year, but maybe next year? :)

No one hating it is good(definitely read people getting needlessly pissy about DLC and chances to win), I have no intention of letting dickheads ruin my day which is why I avoid here mainly.
