It IS against the rules. It says so on Steam Trades.
You can't do anything with the games as they're tied to your account, that's the point.

Pretty sure it's against those sites rules to trade/sell accounts.

1. I'm pretty sure both Origin an UPlay (and Steam for that matter) have very clear rules against account trading/selling.
2. Nothing. Enjoy the digital age, where second-hand games no longer exist.

Yep, you can buy an account from those forums but if EA / Ubisoft go onto those forums and find that your account that has been traded, they'll just ban you and the seller if they have a second account. If you complain, they'll (in a round about way) just say tough-shit as you shouldn't have bought from someone willing to break their ToS.

Are you new to PC gaming? You can't transfer any online account, doesn't matter if it's a Steam, Origin or UPlay one, not even online games accounts, it's against the TOS, which nobody ever bothers to read.

No, I'm not new, I'm just a bit new to the fact that I can't sell something I bought. It may be against the ToS, but it's definitely not against basic rights and so called 'common sense', which I believe are more valuable.
Anyway, how is it that everybody knows what's in ToS when nobody reads it?

Best example ever, period.
And trust me, some people actually read the ToS, I do it for things like gaming platforms like Steam

Base Rules:
Do not attempt to trade Steam or online game accounts (EVE, RIFT, etc). Zero tolerance.

Hey, thanks for warning. I expected some kind of clarification from the mods, not a ban, as the name Origin is not used in the Rules as opposed to Steam. You admitted yourself that it's not clear enough.

European law will only push publishers and online stores like Steam towards the software licensing models that they've already been moving towards. The attempt to establish and enforce consumer rights might end with consumers having even fewer rights.

It's almost unbelievable how these corporations always have something up their sleeve.

I hope they finally do something right, but for now it's not really working out.

First, it's STEAMtrades, so I thought maybe that's why. It's strange they put there some online games and didn't remember about main opponent of Steam.
Second, I won't replay them and I'm simply out of tears after crying 3 days in a row ;)

It is against the rules of service for both Origin and uPlay. You can get you accounts banned from those services!
Finished games, are finished. Theres nothing you can do except re-play them.

I know it's probably the lowest punishment there is, as it was my first (and last) time.

While I would never trade, buy or sell an account (simply because I don't need to), I believe those terms of service are bull and you should be able to do whatever you want with them, so next time just use another not-so-uptight-about-it community like 4chan or Reddit, and ALWAYS use a secondary account.

And if Valve / EA / Ubisoft / whoever's system account you are selling finds that you are selling, they'll probably just ban any and all accounts connecting from your ip. And if you complain, they'll just say tough shit. Shouldn't have broken our rules about trading accounts &/or about having multiple accounts.

I'm not so stupid as to even try to perform such transaction from a main account, which is why I said to ALWAYS use a secondary account. If I spend enough time and money into something and one day I simply decide to part ways with it, and receive a little of that money back, it is within my rights to do so, and no arbitrary rules will stop that.

Yes, but what I'm saying still applies, if you are caught selling, even from a secondary you will probably end up with both accounts banned.

Munnipenne called. She said "Read the FAQ or die [or get suspended] another day"...

Yeah, it's kind of antipolism ;) Even here some users say 'creator of a giveaway is from Poland, so probably it's fake'.

I recently got banned for 3 days on both SteamGifts and SteamTrades for attempting to trade Origin/Uplay accounts, which is not really forbidden in the Rules, so I warn you:
NEVER EVEN TRY TO TRADE ACCOUNTS (no matter what kind of them)
Now to the second part:
Thanks for reading and for any answers.
