I felt really bad for Henry in Mafia II. He was a good guy.

Persona 3 FES. By far. I rarely cry from games, but somehow this game got me quite a few times.

Max Payne 2 - its story is one of the saddest things I've seen in gaming. I mean, I know his name is Max Payne, but just how much shit in his life can one man take?
Grand Theft Auto IV - I actually cried when Kate died and that fat bastard Roman didn't, even though I did the right thing and killed that asshole Dimitry.
Spec Ops The Line - that game is just so gruesome and mortifying it makes you question your own humanity and feel like a monster(and it's a fucking video game).

Gone Home and Planescape:torment comes to my mind.I'm surprised nobody mentioned these before.

Super Mario Bros...
Omg I went through so much shit just to find out the princess is in another castle ;n;

Bastion, Braid, Little inferno, Portal 1&2, Limbo... Sorted by how much I liked it. Limbo is pretty far from the rest.

That's checking my Steam games.

The Brothers game would be on the list but it didn't give me any feels... But that game is a tear jerker for some people.

I can't think of more games other than that right now. Don't wanna bother going thru all my console games in my head.

"I have no mouth and I must scream" wins without a doubt when it comes to emotional games. The whole concept of the game is dreary in itself, as you know the characters can't survive and all they can do is make the best out of whatever torture is thrown their way. The few times there are any "happy" moments or moments of rejoice, AM is quickly there to put the characters into misery again.
