A little bit of history for newcomers

Hello! I've created a little retro platformer game and with the help of friendly SG community managed to polish it and release it on Steam back in late 2016. Since then, I've held two of these "marathon" events (inspired by some comments in Keo's giveaway) in order for all of us to have fun and at the same time to give back to SG members who supported the game by giving them the chance to win some nice prizes. Introduction

Welcome to the back to school marathon, even if you're not going back to school! I am, because I'm a teacher so... yeah. Anyway, time for another event (actually, planned time is September and October, but I'll be very busy when September comes so let's start a bit early, I hope you don't mind) and this time I'll try to make it much easier to participate, specially for shy people who don't like recording YouTube videos. Also, I wanted to make things a bit more interesting so tasks will be more unique and not connected to a train. I'll give you three quests, and each player can go and solve them in their own pace. That's it.

Requirements

In order to participate you have to be a nice and well behaved member of SteamGifts community. You need a free Steam account which you already have otherwise you wouldn't be a member of the community here. And you need to have the game called Goblin and Coins in order to be able to perform tasks required and fulfill the quests given by the NPC... that would be me.

Optional: In order to record gameplay videos and post them to YouTube you'll additionally need some a software specialized for recording (like Fraps, OBS or Xsplit) or a hardware capability implemented in your GPU and drivers (GeFofce Experience or AMD GamingEvolved). You can also search the internet to get help with this or ask in the comments.

Optional: In order to cook you might need a stove, some pans, electricity... In order to take photos you'll need a digital camera or a smartphone or anything else that can take photos and transfer them to PC or submit them online.

Tips

• Play on casual, it's easier.
• Use a quality keyboard or a gamepad. Some netbook keyboards will ruin your experience, sadly.
• You can rebind the keys in settings menu.
• Feel free to read community guides on Steam.
• If you get discouraged, feel free to watch other players and see how they dealt with something.
• Ask, and someone might answer. There are tips&tricks for all the enemies and bosses, just need to find them.
• Have fun and laugh. That's the point to have fun together :)

For people recording videos:

• Use hardware recording for making videos if you can. While game is lightweight and can work even on 2in1 netbooks or very old computers, Fraps or similar software could reduce your framerate and cause stuttering.
• Talk in English in videos. I don't mind if you have an accent, I'm not a native speaker either, but it's the only language everyone here will understand more or less.

Rules

• There are three tasks, each is independent of the others. You can solve only one, two or all three, it's up to you.
• Each task will have at least 1 private giveaway. Players that solve the tasks will be invited into said giveaway before November 1st.
• Giveaways will be created even if there's less than 5 people to be invited. Even if you're the only one.
• In order to be invited you have to provide what is asked and in the exact way that was explained in task description.
• Don't cheat. I'll check all applications.
• All submissions must be posted into this thread by the end of October 20th, 2017, CET (GMT+1).
