No, though I figured someone might say that as I think there were actually a couple of different games that involved photography around that time. The one I meant is on Steam.

Yep. :)
Since it's been a week, I'll give away the first one. It's Amnesia: The Dark Descent. 'Cause that's what you'll be doing the whole time. :P

Since it looks like no-one is gonna figure it out, the answer is Long Live The Queen, because poisoned chocolate is one of the most common ways for players to die on their first playtrough. :D

I'm looking forward to the Shit Chuckin' Simulater 2014. You play as a monkey in a zoo, sniping off nazi zoo visitors. Crap density consists of what you eat (super realism) so for example, if your diet for the day is 1 kilo of bananans, it'll be all mushy and nice, gives off a really satisfying splat.
You also get bonus points for hitting nurses, cause they have white clothing so there's room for more damage.
( ...funny thing is, somebody will probably steal this idea and create a real simulator out of it. )
Imma lawsuit them and make moniez, llololo, which brings me to my next idea. LAWSUIT simiulater 2014. it's where you play as a lawyer and you....... (and so he rambled on for all enternity)

Didn't think of this one, but no.
One more hint, JRPG.

Yeah I really like it. I stopped playing around 2/3 of the 3rd generation (on 5).
The game is mainly based around combat and they can be repetitive. Though overall you don't need to grind.

Part of the negative feedback should be due to some long lasting problem with sound and visual bugs.
For a long time in the beginning there was trouble with low FPS, sound stuttering and very slow animation in some areas.
There was also a bothersome bug (for some) that deported to the right the whole actor images to the right during cutscene, making you see the left character near the middle, and hte right one not at all.
Most of the trouble took some time but have been fixed. I don't know about the cutscene problems, I had that one, but haven't launched the game since December.

It was great, I really liked the art style and the music, not to mention the more tactical gameplay in comparison to Bastion, it was all pretty great. The story was quite good too, but I felt like the game didn't quite manage to become something greater than a sum of its parts.
I mean, the game was cohesive and polished and it all fit together very well but for some reason I couldn't get into it in the same way that I could into Bastion. The world sort of felt dead to me (I guess it was meant to) but...I dunno, it felt sort of hollow.
Maybe it was due to my mood, I don't know, lots of factors affect my opinion of it, but I can say for sure that it's a must play for 2014, but I still prefer Bastion. :P

I was going to say Saints Row: The Third. But according to Steam that's from 2011?

Also known as [redacted]. Guess! Don't spoil it for yourself by clicking first.
Pick a game you like and make it a sim as seems to be the trend these days and let people guess what it is. The year it was released in being the year at the end of the title. It should be something memorable or defining about the game obviously, so please don't call something Run n Gun Simulator 1999 or something super generic like that.
