Do you care? (You should)
I do care... But after watching Penn & Teller: Bullshit! Episode on Recyling it seems the only thing to do is to not use or buy the junk to begin with.
I have stopped buying meaningless plastic things. Occasionally I buy bottled and canned beverages when I'm out out, but I never buy bottled water. I refill containers from home and reuse large containers to fill with 'safe water' from water dispensers. Supposedly the water where I live is reasonably safe so I don't always bother. Bottled water has always puzzled me because people buy it because they worry their water isn't safe while contributing to it not being safe.
I'm also a vegetarian, which isn't for everyone but livestock is estimated to generate 65 per cent of human-related nitrous oxide. I still drink milk though... and those cows contribute manure.
I try to remember to bring my own bags, (especially since they cost .25 to .50 cents if I forget them) and I reuse any bags I accumulate for waste baskets or re-wrapping things at home.
I also try to do multiple things when I go out rather than make a bunch of small trips to stores so I drive less.
I am sure I still do many things which contribute to harming the environment...

I care because it's my world where I live
But it's not enough
I don't know whether people don't care or just don't know that global warming is really dangerous
Especially when the sea level is rising fast... Europe might be not continent anymore, they'll become islands
Some countries will disappear like Atlantis I don't even know if Atlantis was real or not
I wish I had a cool superpower

Climate change is important and there is only so much we can do as individuals to keep it from coming faster. Not to mention we have to wait or other countries overseas to chill on what they are doing.
To me, ocean pollution (pollution in general honestly) is far more important. Climate change affects the ocean pretty hard too (ocean acidification), but as someone who lives in a hot tourist area near the water, it's something that is a huuuuge issue to me especially with how rapidly it affects things. Seeing tourists toss their McDonalds leftovers in the bay in mass amounts is frustrating. Especially since we are famous for having crabs in our bay and the tourists just don't care and kill them off. We are constantly repairing damage (replanting bay grass and cleaning the trash out of the water constantly) just to have more people tear it down. And that is just what I see done. Far more is going on and killing so much of the ecosystem that helps us survive as a species. Without a healthy ocean, we are certainly done for. And on top of that the pollution is contributing to climate change so I suppose they go hand in hand.
I reuse and recycle when I can, but overall avoid buying too much that'll cause an issue in the first place. I have a compost and grow some of my own food without using damaging chemicals or fertilizers (the dirt will keep its nutrition as long as you don't farm the heck out of it). I hate going to the dump and seeing the mass amounts of needless trash just piling up.

I stopped caring about the time when people on both sides decided they were all knowing and would only belittle and attack you if you dared to asked questions, even if you agreed with their side to some degree. Probably still lean towards the side of believing it to some degree (even if some of the data they still go on was proved to be inaccurate), but as of now I got more personal things to worry about.

Meh, it's not global warming. It's just idiots getting panicky over a natural cycle. Climates change whether people are here to affect it or not. Do you think that humanity had anything to do with the start and end of the last ice ages? No. Did we keep records of weather patterns for thousands of years? No. The planet warms and cools at sporadic rates. I'm sure that 500 years ago similar events happened and no one called it global warming. Modern society is far more panicky and fearful than they were, with the exception of the super religious, 500 years ago. Humanity has degraded to almost a primate state of paranoia.
Call me a naysayer, but I call myself a realist.

A lot of comments here. Can't argue with everyone.
But, from what I have seen, there's still a lot of people that don't really care.
That's why it would be very important for those who don't care to watch the docummentary. This is serious. And the excuse of "point of no return" can't be a real excuse.
Tell me, would you care if you live in an island or a place near to a coast? No? But your home would be underwater in a few time.
We live in a society that thinks this is just a fantasy. But if people lived in a place where this would actually affect their daily survival, then they would care.
This is not only about global warming, is about EVERYTHING.
About the planet, animals, people.
If this is a "natural thing", then for sure humanity is giving a big push. Open your eyes, use the internet and see for yourself the facts.

Since big countries doesnt care, i dont care anymore, i mean, even if i try to be 100% "green", big factories will do 1000% more enviroment damage.... kinda stupid that they are looking for a new planet to colonize instead of trying save this one *facepalm*

Meh, I am just waiting for wars over water instead of oil and for the day when the nukes start flying. Nobody will save us from ourselves.

From us a little that depends. You should not infringe upon ourselves in such a small scale. In addition, I also hold the view that it is a scam. In fact we are in the interglacial period. Winter Is Coming. . . . Several hundreds or thousands of years, is still there. But we do not live up to it. (。◕‿◕。)

Global warming or climate change as they prefer to call it now to hedge their bets is part of the post-industrial zero growth society envisioned by the Venetian, Genoese, Norman and Anglo-Saxon elite who still rule most of the world for the time being. What do those want who already have as much power as they could possibly acquire? Shape their environment and part of that is a most significant population reduction and the use of far less resources. As far as the elite is concerned all those resources belong to them. 'Green' energies are being pushed as they are highly inefficient and offer a far lower energy flux density which can only sustain far smaller populations. If anyone wants to hand over 30% of their living standards for this scam, they can go ahead, but it is not based upon real science.
Do a simple 'global warming' experiment: Set a glass of water in the sun. What happens? Bubbles will form in the water. Those bubbles are CO2 being released out of the water. So what can be learned from this? The increase in temperature in the water releases CO2 and thus an increase in CO2 is an effect and not the cause of an increase in temperature.
The Earth has been cooling since 1993 in truth. There is enough evidence out there as to how data is being manipulated in order to turn change trend curves by applying 'temperature corrections' over older temperature measurements, but not the more recent ones. The BRICS alliance does not subscribe to the scam of global warming. It is only a matter of time before the BRICS alliance will implement a new economical model based upon win-win principles and gold backed currency to go along with it. You can live in the 'Age of Miracles' with the all inclusive BRICS alliance or be part of a miserable world that ancient Venetian powers have created which offers the people of the world nothing but shortages and strife. Read 'Report from Iron Mountain' or watch the documentary if you want to know why the climate is being made into an issue or why terrorism all of a sudden become such a serious matter. All of this is by design. Most scientific areas cannot be separated from the study of power structures.
China and Russia will become new great centres of civilisation, nations will realign across the globe and nationalism will experience a revival. The world will shift from a unipolar world to a multipolar world. This is one of the rare moments in history that changes are made in the hierarchy of the ruling elite at the highest levels and with that the entire 'fabric of reality' aka the spectrum of possibilities will change. What I state may sound strange if this is the first time you hear about it, but just watch as what I state will come to pass.

I was not talking about distilled water. CO2 is in tap water and the oceans in relatively significant quantities unless we consider the 0.04% CO2 in the atmosphere insignificant which in actuality it is of which in turn only 10% could be attributed to humans. Do some research and you will see for yourself. Plants need CO2 as well in order to grow, so the genius who prefers no CO2 in the atmosphere would effectively kill all plant life.

I care but 80% of the world doesn't or won't make life changes to affect it. We are F'd

I kinda care but not enough to do anything about it. In term of environmental concerns, I recycle (it's obligatory anyways around here), I don't litter, I don't even own a car. I can't think of anything else to do which wouldn't be a huge inconvenient or effort in my daily life, so yeah.

Reading John Zerzan? Personally I prefer Derrick Jensen, though.Great in public, too.

I can't say I care, no. I don't deliberatelly do damage to the nature or the planet or anything, but I don't exactly go out of my way to help things, either.

Used to care so much I was a climate change activist, among other activities. At some point I burnt out(no pun intended). I still care, just don't expect most humans to care enough to affect things. Unless forced to, and by then it will be too late for many plants, animals, and displaced peoples.

Hello community.
Last night I saw the docummentary Before The Flood, where Leonardo Di Caprio travels around the world to show how global warming is affecting our planet(climate change) and humanity. It is a must see.
I just want to share the docummentary, because I want people to see it and share it, so more and more people can understand the situation.
I've been concern about this situation since some years ago. I do what I can to help, by recycling (In my house and in the office), eating less meat, I even use LED's on every room and use them only when necessary, using less hot water, among other small things that everyone can do.
It's not the best, but if everyone do something small, we can do something bigger.
;)
