And yes, multi-accounting is a well-known issue, though given the nature of it, it's something you primarily come across in very low level public giveaways [as such users primarily have a single high level account and just making farming (usually bot) accounts for level 0~2 to support that account].
While such issues do lead to a permanent site vacation, it's worth noting that just a basic SGT filter (without any rule criteria set) does by default filter out giveaway leakers (due to the site maintaining it's own list of banned exploitative users), many of whom are suspected multi-accounters. Exploitative users seem to avoid even empty SGT filters as a rule, perhaps due to how thorough said filter is, perhaps due to the difficulty of logging their multiple accounts through it, or perhaps due to their entry habits mostly being related to giveaways which can be accessed automatically [by bot accounts].
In any case, whenever you're in doubt, report to staff [and SGT's staff, if the issue occurs when using an SGT filter]. They can decide if it's worth their time or not and, from what I understand, they do internally flag users they deem meriting of concern. They won't take action against a user unless they're certain of wrong-doing, and they won't get upset at you for bringing a concern to their attention.

Before making this topic I actually contacted them (at the time just to ask why they weren't accepting yet, which had to go through a friend request) and... I guess you learn something new every day. I now know what a "smurf" account is. I feel like such a steam noob haha.
But yes I filed a ticket.

Granted it's just my theorizing at the moment but if it looks like a duck... Forgive this SG newb for asking!
I've just been wondering, some people seem to have multiple steam accounts, and subsequently they could make several SG accounts. Which in turn might explain why sometimes keys get viewed but games not added to the account that won...
That hasn't happened to me yet, but I am just wondering how one would best protect against such advances? Or is this normal and accepted behaviour? Most sites I've been on have rules against secondary accounts/mules. I was hoping for some sort of sticky in announcements I could read but maybe I am just blind, haha. And I'm super super sorry if the answer for this could have been found easily.
I just have a hunch about someone having entered a secondary in one of my GAs, I could of course always be wrong, but as regular user I also have no way of looking into this in any shape or form. The 7 days are over so I wanted to contact them on steam and ask what gives, and then noticed they were friends with an account of almost the same name that had tons better stats than that one.
Again I could be wrong, too. I don't wanna be a grinch based on assumption. Is this something to file a ticket over or how do I proceed? Or maybe this is fine and I'm not supposed to act?
I just want to make the most out of any giveaways I have and that includes everyone having equal chances. Sorry for so much text, will shut up now and nervously await replies XD
