Yatterman's topic (about someone who won Fortix and pestered him as soon as the giveaway ended) got me thinking about the "right" thing to do in other situations... like Super MNC for example.
Would it be wrong to mark a giveaway as "Not Received" if the giveaway was for Monday Night Combat but you were given Super MNC?

Since you technically never received the game from the giveaway, Monday Night Combat, I would have to say it is acceptable to mark it Not Received.
Anyone else think differently? And keep in mind that saying it's not acceptable would run the risk of invoking the "slippery slope" argument, because then someone could make a Skyrim giveaway but give out Fortix.

If you know it's not MNC, and it's SMNC instead, why enter it just to report it as a not received? If you want to burn the person who made the giveaway, just report it.

Not all of the giveaways specify "Super" or not.
Besides, it's a hypothetical question.

Can we assume that we didn't know it was Super MNC until the giveaway ended?

Yes, it would be right because you didn't receive the game advertised and they broke a rule. Simply hit "Reject Gift" if it's a super MNC copy and contact support. Not that hard.
