My fav is NFO (Norwegian Forest Cat), but I have 2 not thoroughbred kitty sisters I adopted when they mommy died. Grey one is Sasha and black one is Mikasa:

I have or had at some point in my life Sokokes, Cornish Rex, Burmese, various rescues, and a Siamese mix; never been without cats for the past 32 years (and had childhood/family cats before that). That said, the remaining ones are 18, 15, and 11 years old now and the current plan is to be cat-free for a year or more after they leave. Whether I can actually do that remains to be seen ;)

I love this thread! Hadn't discovered it until now (thanks to your tip).
My favorite cat is the one that's in front of me.
But in general I like Maine Coons and seal point Himalayans.

My favorite cats are those who are as far away from me as possible, on account of me being allergic to them.
(I actually like cats, but can't be in the same room as them for too long before my eyes and throat itches, and my nose is running like crazy.)

bumpo for turns out japan's national cat day was on the 22nd of february~
and not without reason, it's because 2 is pronounced nii in japanese, which is close to nyan, which is the japanese way of writing the sound cats make by meowing, so it was decided that the nyan nyan of nyan month (22 of 2) would be nyan day.

Maine Coon's are a very nice looking cat!
I really like yours better, though.;)
While I don't own a cat, and I doubt I ever will, I really like cats. They are cool.:)

I like Main Coons and Norwegian Forest Cats (which are very similiar)
I have a soft spot for Birmans since I had a beautiful cross eyed Birman kitten when I was younger. I don't have any cats right now because i live in a tiny apartment.
(Pictures below are not of my cats but just cute cats in general)
First one is Main Coon, second is Norwegian Forest Cat, Third is a Birman kitten :)

I like Maine Coon, it looks impressive.
At the same time, my common gray house cat isn't bad either: while having the same catpower, it is much more compact, and you can put it in very tight spaces. It also consumes less food per 100 miles. Sadly, it won't work outside of its food bowl signal range.
