I hope that she'll live for many more years to come. 14 is the age when my cat got her first serious health problems (acute pancreatitis), but fortunately veterinary medicine is pretty advanced nowadays, and she was with me until 20,5 years old, almost all of them - happy and relatively healthy.
The first picture is so adorable))

How cute! It must be very easy to take her a shower.

The love of my life was a daugher of a black short-haired village beauty that belonged to my grandmother and (presumably) her preferred partner and the only neighbour, a huge tabby guy with one of the most impressive furs I've ever touched (my cat's fur felt exactly the same). Fancy pedigree is not everything, but good genes do count: my Koshka has inherited her parents' good looks, and she was also incredibly intelligent. I can't even begin to describe how much I miss her.

I love the looks of Maine Coon, too. Never had one, though, and they are rare in Germany. But I've always had strays or cats from the shelters, and I've always loved them like crazy and wouldn't have traded them for anything in the world, Maine Coon or not :-)

I like Maine Coon, it looks impressive.
At the same time, my common gray house cat isn't bad either: while having the same catpower, it is much more compact, and you can put it in very tight spaces. It also consumes less food per 100 miles. Sadly, it won't work outside of its food bowl signal range.
