I belive Valve discontinued the 5 dollar wallet card, so you can't find a legit seller for it.

You can get £5 in the UK which is around $7 to $8 but you would need someone who lives in the UK to get you one. (steam auto converts currency i've used steam wallet cards in $ and it has translated to £ so the opposite should work)

http://www.game.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HubArticleView?hubId=195251&articleId=195252&storeId=10151

By purchasing Steam Wallet codes using your Reward Card, you'll earn GAME Reward Points. Just head into your nearest store, or check out Steam Wallet online and choose your desired value - denominations of £5*, £10, £20, £50 and £100 are available - and we'll give you a code that is redeemable within Steam, so you can buy the games and game add-ons you want.

*£5 steam wallet top ups are only available in-store

http://www.instantgamecodes.com/buy/steam-wallet-5-gift-card is legit. I have bought many of steam wallet cards from them. I am pretty sure the $5, £5, etc only come from certain countries of valves digital distribution.

I honestly recommend instantgamecodes.com, the price is a bit above retail, but I always have my code within 5-10 mins.

Go to a gas or mail station and buy a Paysafecard, for any amount you want, use it on Steam and have your money.

physical stores sell only 20 and 50, at least here. idk if it cost exactly 20€ a 20€ wallet card, but if it costs more, which is very likely here, is a ripoff, still trying is good :D

most probably they are lying to you.

at my fiance's store we sell Paysafe cards (that's why i use them). We can sell every available card, 5 $ (euro in our situation), 10 $, 20$ and 50 $ without any restrictions and, as far as i know, there are no restrictions at all to sell any of these amounts in any store.

Moreover, the client pays exactly the price of paysafe he gets. For example, he wants a 20$ card? He pays 20 $ and no cent more.

So yeah, you should have your sellers checked as they are most likely lying.

I'm talking about Steam Wallet cards in that comment not about PaySafe Cards... obviously for PaySafe Cards you don't lose a single cent, and you can buy them for any amount. But for Steam Wallet cards, iTunes cards, Google Play cards, etc, physical stores tend to increase price more than the one you receive on card.

Should just use CC, $5 = $5 without additional cost, except you pay the CC bill late.
