I've done a couple of puzzle giveaways so far, both rebus style, this time I wanted to try something different.

For this puzzle you need to do it in order, the answer to the previous question is required for the next.

I might give clues for this if it proves to be harder than I thought, so don't be mad if you solve it early ( I might not also). I think it's fairly easy though.

There's some film, geography and word play involved.

Game: Line Rider 2: Unbound
Contrib: $0
Points: 10
End Time: Friday 0:15 GMT (I think)

Bonus Game (In description of LR2)
Game: A Game Of Dwarves
Contrib: $0
Points: 10
End Time: Friday 1:15 GMT

Hints:
All the questions are a bit like crossword clues.
The answer to Q2 is a single 10 letter word.
If you look ahead to the next question, it might give some info about the previous answer.
Kevin.
The surname is important for Q4

Answers

Q1) Giving an "e" to this meat really makes it light up.
Bacon - Add an "e" to bacon and you get beacon.

Q2) Q1 might have been in these squashed ships.
Flatliners - Kevin Bacon was in the film and a squashed ship could be a "flat liner".

Q3) Q2's female lead might give you this information about a bird.
The Pelican Brief - Julia Roberts was the lead actress in both films.

Q4) Q3's male lead might think visiting this place is a capital idea.
Olympia - Denzel Washington starred in The Pelican Brief and the state capital of Washington is Olympia.

Q5) Q4 was also here first
Greece - The original Olympia is in Greece

Q6) Q5's homophone had this pearl in it.
Barry - A homophone of Greece is Grease, in which was Barry Pearl.

Q7) Q6 might be in this country if it had water all around it.
Wales - Barry with water all around would be "Barry Island", which is in Wales.

Q1 is in some ways the hardest, but the meat in question is not exotic.

I suggest some wordplay in Q2, and can't beat it anyway...
0 solvers still, will there be hints?

Stuck on Q2 too.

All the questions are a bit like crossword clues, the answer to Q2 is a single 10 letter word. If you look ahead to Q3 that should tell you something else about the answer.

Still no solvers, thought it was easy.....

As an extra incentive, I will add another giveaway for solvers, either Game of Dwarves or Home, whichever gets 3 votes first in the giveaway comments. I've also put a Red Orchestra guest pass in there for the first to collect.

Probably not, so sorry.

I think most people are stuck on Q2, I tried using google and imdb to help me (using the hints), but it probably made me only more lost. I think I have an idea about it, but idk if I should say it, and it is probably wrong since I am still stuck...

Well it sounded like you were close, if you have figured out who and are looking him up on imdb you can't be too far away.

Made some progress thanks to the hint. Stuck on 4. I think I found something closely related to the answer, but still can't solve it.
Q5 seems a bit vague to be useful.

I'm pretty sure I have tried that, well if I have the right idea what that hint means. How is the spelling in the answer, as it has ,'s and .'s in it? (assuming I'm reading this right and it's not any of the other places related to that name)

You shouldn't be needing any .'s or such. I think you might be taking the clue the wrong way around if you get what I mean...

Don't be. It's a bundled game, so I'm not overly bother from a CV POV.

Sure someone will turn up anyway.....

Since there were so few solvers and the votes were tied I picked the bonus game, ends an hour later. Odds are looking good for whoever gets in.
