How many others aren't participating in the summer sale?

Here. But my situation is easier to explain, I'm just broke xD

maybe tell a friend to buy a game for you, then pay him when you get home..

I'm not. Because I'm pretty much broke. Even though i'm probably still getting a few cheaper games, through my friends and I'll pay them later.

Don't own a credit card, don't have a good PC.

im participating way too much....every time one of these sales comes around im broke...not this time...

Have debit card, have a tiny bit of money to spend on games, just not interested in increasing the size of my backlog.

I don't have a great deal of money but I put a small amount aside and I've bought a couple of things for myself and my partner, most expensive thing I bought was scribblenaughts for £3.74. Lots of things I'd like to buy but I have to be sensible :(

Don't have a card at all, so I rely on retail keys only. Steam even forbids me from selling trading cards I don't want (meaning all of them).

i am currently out of my country too for a holiday trip. And i have np buying things from summer sale. the trick is that you must add funds to your Steam wallet and pay with your credit instead of credit cards.

waiting for Rune Classic to go 75%. Other than that, i'm buying nothing.

I'm not buying anything either. I'm not broke, and it's not because steam sale prices have been beaten elsewhere either. I haven't bought a game on steam since last year. I no longer think they deserve my money. I buy elsewhere now. :)

I am voting and collecting cards though.

I Managed to scrape enough spare cash together for Witcher 2, but that's where the sale started and ended for me.

Damage so far is $4, not counting accumulated wallet, and I keep sitting out on so many sales I feel more like an observer than a player.
