Steam market deleting items?

I just tried to remove some items from the steam market and re-add them to my backpack.
Upon confirming the popup I received an error message. Result: The items are neither in my backpack nor to be found in the market anymore.

What the heck is going on?

They did indeed. Seems like the backpack API was down and the items were removed from the market, but stuck in the middleware, not reaching my backpack. Now that the API is working again they suddenly were transferred onward to my backpack. :)

I never had a similar problem.

PS: You are on steamgifts website, not steam forums / customer support page. :(

I know where I am, but as I assume that most people here use steam (xD), maybe someone else who had a similiar experience can share advice.

Pray, thats all you can do. Steam Market has some serious bugs. You can loose your items or even all your money from the Steam Wallet. Usually these happen when their servers are goin' down and you want to do a modification(removing items) or a transaction that time. And the best part: you will never get back your lost things.
