I wonder like with some other games will they allow us to get F3 or others free with that steam select sync thing... like for me I owned Saints Row 2/3 on steam and when Saints Row2/3 was finally released on GOG I got the DMR free versions free using that steam select sync thing?

Maybe F1 and 2. Bethesda even does not like to set discounts more then 50%.

yeah but I guess with that steam link thing, you already purchased it - so it isn't like you are getting a game you didn't pay for free... but I can see where you are coming from since bethesda can be sort of greedy and if this was the case they would lose the money they can get from ppl that want to buy the DRM versions (if you owned the steam version, you got the drm versions)

I still don't have these, and I was wondering if they would eventually come to GOG! It's been a while since they were released, after all! At some point, even games that you remember being released become old. :) Nice!

Just a warning - To anyone who got the earlier games before (Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics) - they are listed differently in the GOG system, so it looks like you might be able to buy games you already own.

What I mean is, If you bought (or got for free in the last few days before they were taken down) Fallout, Fallout 2, and / or Fallout Tactics on GOG - they are listed in your library as "Fallout Classic" "Fallout 2 Classic" and "Fallout Tactics Classic". So the store doesn't recognize that you already own them. So you will be able to pay for them again. And, I assume, have 2 copies in your library - with the "Classics" suffix and without. I don't think there is any difference in the games themselves. (It's not like the non-Classics titles are updated or HD or anything.)

That's a good warning to bring up. The "Classics" versions you mentioned that have been removed since Bethesda took over the licenses from Interplay actually contain more goodies than the currently available titles. The Bethesda releases currently available stripped away quite a lot of content. :(

Just looking at Fallout 1, the currently available version only includes a manual as an extra where the Classic version contains avatars, artwork, the soundtrack, and lots of other bonuses.

The opening cinematic is different, AFAIK, and this is the onyl change. Oh, and maybe the Bethesda ones are the censored editions (although it takes like a minute to reverse that).

Nice, but since I already own them on Steam the only way I'm getting them again n GOG is if they include them in a future GOG Connect.

Is Bethesda experimenting? Don't they want to risk selling a drm-free version of Fallout 4? There will be a drm-free version of Fallout 4 GOTY?
Nice price for Morrowind GOTY!

I can only speak for Oblivion, but the physical Game of the Year edition release doesn't have any DRM. You don't even need the CD in the drive to play it. They didn't have to remove the DRM from the game to release on Gog.

:D That would be great, but I doubt it. I'm actuall pretty shocked that Zenimax went this far with it.

Nice that they straight up have the goty deluxe version of Oblivion. Having the non deluxe version on Steam without a way to upgrade is pretty annoying. At least this way people can't make a mistake and get the "inferior" version.

This is… incredibly surprising. Both from Bethesda Softworks, and even more se from Zenimax.
Did they hire someone at marketing that finally has a working brain cell or what? I mean… first the free FO4 weekend, then these releases… this is totally out of their usual behaviour.
A welcomed change and I may invest to re-buy the games on GOG just for the supporting the DRM-free releases, but still a baffling one.

Also my thought although the discount is pretty bad for someone like me that have bought most of the titles as physical and steam releases already. I have to let this one stew for a while.

Now if they would make Fallout 3 PLAYABLE since it still used GFWL, then I'd find a way to get it.

GOG messes around with old games to make sure they work before they sell them, they even mention on the store page that it works on Win 7, 8, and 10. Steam versions are sold as-is but you can still make them work with mods and patches. I just played it this week on Windows 10.

I don't want to sound harsh, but there's a topic on Steam from 2013 about how to remove the GFWL from Fallout 3... so even the Steam version is easily without it :D
