Is PS4 lacking in exclusives?

I have (had) been a console gamer since I was about 4 yrs old, the PS4 was the first console I got on launch and it served my well, at launch it was definitely the best console on the market for me: screenshots and video sharing easily, PS+ gave me great games and I played MP with some friends.
However... 6 months later I got a new laptop and I decided to go for an MSI gaming laptop, and I decided to see what's all the fuzz about this Steam thing, and my laptop has something called a GTX 870m which made my laptop as powerful as a PS4... AND then the next 3-4 months my PS4 was relegated to a Netflix machine and thus I decided to sell it before it got a price drop on December.
Best decision ever, now I live happily ever after within the PC Master Race and also the PS4 exclusives have been really terrible, I get goosebumps when I think I was thinking of getting Destiny Deluxe Edition and renewing my PS+ subscription just to get to play Bungie's next big game... I even had good hopes for The Order 1886!
The best things I got to play on PS4:
- PT
- Resogun
- Assasin Creed 4
- Stryder
- Outlast
- Destiny's Beta (epic beta, shitty bareboned final product though)

Exactly! However I am a big Halo fan and Bungie did deliver a satisfying gunplay, but horde mode gets a little tedious when you fight the same enemies on the same areas :(

Although I'm proud of being in the PC Master Race, I sure wish I could play The Last of Us, Uncharted series and the future Kingdom Hearts game.

I would love to buy them but I'm just too busy now to enjoy all of it. Even if I do get it, there's no guarantee I'll be able to play them all :/

I don't really care for exclusives, but I do love Gran Turismo (a PS exclusive).
Would love to play Forza but the Xbox just doesn't appeal to me.

If you're a big enough racing fan. It's my all-time favorite racing game. Perfect blend of arcade/sim. I also play it with a racing wheel. Not sure how much it would all cost, but I'd pay $100 to get it all set up if I didn't have it. Plus, you could give Gears of War and Halo series a try.

I gave up on consoles. All of those I owned (psx, ps2 and Xbox360) at some time were just gathering dust.
With limited time and a huge steam library I'll stick to pc.
Some of my friends own consoles though, and I really like what I see at times but I cant justify buying one. It would be a waste of money imo.

I'm not really paying attention to any of the current gen consoles. Maybe when their prices drop, but for now I'm perfectly happy with my older consoles and my PC.

i am surely going to buy a Ps4 when its cheaper, for now there's still plenty of Ps3, Wii, PSP games i haven't played to keep me occupied, and my pc for some of the newer titles

I probably will buy PS4 for Bloodborne. Or after Sony decided to make a better/slim/newer version of PS4 because they sure love to make a newer version of something.

I'm probably gonna buy a PS4....but not in the next time, since the games that make me wanna buy it, aren't too many, waiting for the PS4 to be released as a new version and probably cheaper and then I might buy it ^^

I've been really wanting to get a Xbox One for some time now to finally try out the Halo franchise. Been back and forth on it. Sorry for rambling haha :D

Before we get started I just want to point out that I own a PC Gaming Rig, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Wii U. I am no fanboy of any one particular system.
Right now I play my Xbox One and PC the most. I hardly touch my PS4 and barely touch my 360 or PS3 anymore. I do get some decent time when I have friends over with the Wii U.
Playstation 4 is simply lacking in exclusive content and doesn't offer anything beyond gaming. My Xbox One I use every day because its more than just for gaming. The voice controls for TV, video, and games is awesome. I prefer my Xbox One for any app simply because the voice integration, and the online service for Xbox Live is more reliable than PSN. Don't get me wrong, I still love to game on my PS4, I just don't game on it as much.
Helldivers just released on Playstation and I am happy that there is finally an exclusive that has pulled me away from the other systems. Helldivers is an amazing game and I am loving every minute of it so far. Too bad The Order 1886 didn't do as well. Here is to hoping for more exclusives to land on the PS4. I am looking forward to bloodbourne and Uncharted 4 but there is more coming Xbox One's way than PS4's at the moment.
