I'm trying it right now. So far, it's is a shame that it show me a pop-up telling me that my Firefox 18.0.1 is a outdated browser and suggested me to use Chrome.

I am really happy its up again. mu was the best, but I cant see the new mega because site has been down all day. Too many people on it :P

Try the https address. It works, registered, but it wouldn't upload a 14 BYTE test file. Also, it says I'm using Firefox, but I'm not.

It's a new site, and it's being hosted by a third party service, so there will be many bugs to iron out for a while. I will be using it for non-critical storage of non-private things. I don't trust it for critical backups and private docs.

I think its a trap myself, in either case it wont last long i presume.

when if offers automatic synchronisation (like dropbox does), THEN i'll be happy to use it :D until then, I've got dropbox for syncing, and mediafire for 50Gb of online storage

though 50Gb of sync will be SWEET!

It crashed my Chrome browser as soon as I loaded the page.

I think it's fairly useless as anything other than a backup-backup-backuped solution. (I wouldn't trust them as anything beyond a fourth in line backup site) You only can access your files twice a month, basically, if you filled your storage and accessed every file. It's a diminishing returns thing.

It'll certainly be useful for plenty, but it's not the next coming of anything.
