I try to make it end when I will be at my PC. But due to not always knowing my work schedule as far ahead as I like to make giveaways sometimes. But even if I work I still send it the same day it ends. At most is probably 6-7 hrs after ending.

"Wondering if people ever get annoyed for not being timely is not being rude just because there is a 7 day grace period for reporting, but taking the full 7 days actually is." => I don't understand well, are you saying that taking 7 day to provide the gift is rude ?
When you talk about "being timely", you should simply stick to the rules, who just say that gifting a game in the 7 days following the GA's end IS timely.
You have the right to be someone with not much patience, but you have to understand that the site rules prevail your personal desires.

Was hoping this was hiding a private giveaway, seems not... Oh well. :)
Who finds it annoying when you buy a game for someone and even a year later they have never even bothered to install it? :)
I mean, why not try to win games you actually wanted to play? :)

Mmm to be fair, I only ever enter to win games that I'm interested in, but with bundles, sales & other interesting games popping up all the time, I've not played every game I've won. With one or two that's because I want to finish playing the previous titles in the series. For others, I've just not got around to playing them yet.
There are not enough hours in the day, especially with my slow and steady wins the race attitude to most games (& life in general).

I got PC access problems so i ussualy cant do the proccess instantly of contact with giveawayer, get key, insert key, thank for the key, check the box, end the buisness. Need time, luckily no problems so far. Sounds annoying as you say in title but what can ya do. Thank you for mentioning this concern.

Is it just me or does this rant sound like "I want my free game and I want it now. The guy giving me a free game is a @#$%^ for not giving it to me now"
Also, before you make statements like "I usually send key or gift within 1 hour of giveaway ending, a maximum of 5." please remember that everyone will check your profile! Example, everyone would be checking mine now!

I don't really mind. According to the rules, they have a week to send it, but that's mainly the time frame due to it being able to be marked as Not Received after that time. Personally, I wouldn't really mind even if it took more than that. Even if someone sends the game after a couple of weeks, you can still change the feedback to Received. Sometimes it's not easy to log in here daily or someone might be on vacation. Whenever it's convenient for them is fine for me, too.

That's just 20 of the 27 games you've taken from here I only listed the ones under an hour.
Point being: You almost never play any games you win here, so what's your hurry?
And in fact: Recent Game Activity: 0.5 hours past 2 weeks
You don't even play ANY games at all on Steam in general, so again what is the bug rush to get the game before the allotted time is up? There's no rule that you need to play games you win for some minimum amount of time, but if you don't really play them, there should be no rush to jump in to that new game...

Very good you can report Steam connected reported hours played, my Borderlands also displays an incorrect number of hour, there is an additional 20+ hours played that do not seem to be reported, btw, I have played Many hours of Gotham Imposters, it is actually fun.
Recent game activity reflects the bathroom, bedroom living room I spent the last 2 months renovating.
And three weeks with no house internet, I like offline mode when you have no net connection.
Everyone has problems, I agree.
Did you enter the giveaway?
And some of the games, as I am sure you have found out after winning, they may actually suck.

Looks like you know how busy life can get. And how some people don't have constant internet. So now I'm not sure why you can't see that gifters may have the same constraints as you.

No. That would just be very silly.
I win something for free, I'm going to be happy about it. I won't rant because I want to get it NOW.
What I don't like, on the other hand, is when a winner takes his sweet time to claim his game...
BUT. I am understanding, so I wait patiently. There's no need to rush, really, when you think about it.

Seeing someone annoyed about being annoyed about something not really annoying like waiting to receive a free game annoys me more, but that's just personal preference.

yes its a bit annoying, but then i remember im getting free games so deal with it, and be thankfull!

It's because you came here to complain and then created the giveaway, 4 hours later, to act as if you were not complaining !
Thanks for the giveaway, but I'd rather not enter.

I wonder if the winner will just never mark the game received based on what you've stirred up here.

I mean, why not set the giveaway to end when you will be at the computer, this is the 4th time someone has taken more than 72 hours (still no contact) to receive any contact about giveaway.
I usually send key or gift within 1 hour of giveaway ending, a maximum of 5.
I also check the box for received within a minute of entering key in Steam.
Obviously not calling anyone one out, just venting frustration.
I will contact giveaway creator by the 120 hour mark though, my standard practice for those who pay no attention to what they do.
